The contractor working on our home after the water damage was Exclusive Kitchens by design. Jesse and his crew, especially Dylan, did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them. Service master restore was delightful to deal with, my appointment was even moved up a day. They came by to check it on a Wednesday and Thursday morning they were here cleaning. The crew was just incredible, Cori, the lead of this two person crew was just phenomenal, she was friendly, attentive, and very respectful as was her team mate. It took them under two hours to clean up the mess that was left after a sewage back up. All my belongings that could be salvaged were cleaned and the ones that were not they removed from the basement. My house smells like it was just cleaned from top to bottom which is such a relief. I could not say enough about the amazing service I was shown here today, I recommend this company to anyone looking for an all around outstanding experience

My family had the unfortunate experience of having a major flood in our house. Service Master Restore Stoney Creek/Hamilton was sent in through our insurance company to do all restorations from top to bottom. From tear out to totally restoring all that was lost. I want to thank Service Master and all of their employees for their professional workmanship and care provided over the course of the restoration. Even after all restorations were completed, a cleaning crew came in and cleaned our home top to bottom!! I would also personally like to thank Sarah Caudle for her Professionalism and care in dealing with our family. Sarah was so caring and thoughtful while going through the renovations. She took care in every detail too make sure we were more than happy with the workmanship provided. Sarah I hope you know that the service you and your company provide home owners under such stress, after such tragic events means so much!!! You have brought our home back to us 100 times better then it was before!!! I would Recommend every insurance company to use Service Master for their restoration needs. Please ask for Sarah Caudle's expertise!!!! Insurance companies can rest assured!! Terrible Terrible Terrible!!!!! Would NEVER use again!!! Customer service is a disgrace. Even though it would be more work on my end, if I ever had an insurance claim again, I would handle getting the repairs done myself and not leave it in the hands of this company. The only positive was the crew that came and did the emergency services part at the beginning , as well as the crew that did the final clean up before we got our home back. But the person that was handling our claim and repairs, Kris, was down right disrespectful, untrustworthy and dishonest. I wish my insurance company used a different company rather than ServiceMaster. Some of their employees really need a class is customer service and how to deal with families that had an unfortunate disaster strike their home. There were countless horror stories in dealing with ServiceMaster and Kris, this review barely scratches the surface.After posting this, I read Joseph`s review, and I feel his pain. I`m sure it`s the same Kris we had to deal with.

This company was recommended to us through TD Insurance when we had a drain back up in our basement. I wish we did not listen to TD's recommendation.ServiceMaster arrived to do the emergency mediation work and tear out damaged flooring/subfloor and sanitize. They did not go far enough and missed large portion damage and had to come back again. When they came back, to fix their error, they charged for everything a second time.In the end they chewed up a large portion of our insurance which should have gone to restoring our basement. And the worst part is, they still missed a large portion of damage. However we did not bring them in for a third time as we no longer had confidence in ServiceMaster to complete the job. Adding to this lack of confidence was the unprofessional manner of Chris and they complete refusal to admit any wrongdoing.ServiceMaster is lucky they were paid by TD directly as I certainly would not have paid for a job that was half finished at best. To sum things up, if you want the job done, and done properly, hire anyone else.

We had insurance claim with Intact that used Service Master to complete our deck . The guys that finished the job were professional and deck is stronger now that a tree won't bring it down again. The deck looks beautiful and guys were very polite and knew what they were doing. I will pass your name around. Eros was very helpful.

We were referred to Servicd Master through our insurance company, and I have to say they are amazing! Very professional, prompt and amazing guys to deal with! Special shout out to swill Tischler for being so great and helpful. We were stuck in a situation where we had no idea what to do, and he did his best to help us out. The team handled all our stuff very professionally! Highly recommend their work for being professional and clean! Thank you Service Master!

We had a loss with soot through the house. Dave and his team were right on it first with emergency repairs (replacing a furnace and complete cleaning of the house) and permanent repairs including drywall paint and carpet. Professional and pleasant to deal with. A go to " for sure!!!"

Absolutely fantastic - wouldn't hesitate to call and use their services again!Thank you to David and his team for acting insanely fast, making us feel at ease and all the while keeping our safety top priority. We had a leak issue in the garage which then turned into a mold issue as well.Service Master completed the work required in just short of 3 HR's with a smile on and being extremely kind.Not an easy job these guys do so it is VERY impressive they do it with such ease and grace.Thank you for getting us back in working order and reassuring us of our troubles.If you are considering their services, best in the business and VERY affordable / quick to act.

We just had our carpets, 3 seater couch & 6 dining room chairs cleaned by SM here in Stoney Creek. They arrived on time & did a fabulous job with no mess or undue water residue. The job included traffic areas in our 3 bedroom condo town house (we moved some small furniture/decor items), plus 2 sets of stairs (upstairs & basement) & a large, white shag rug which we moved to the finished basement for cleaning purposes. This is the 3rd time we've had our carpets cleaned by SM over some 10 years & we have always been totally satisfied.Two years ago, we had some water damage in our basement & after calling our Ins Co., (TD Meloche Monnex), they referred us to Service Master. They co-ordinated the work which included replacing the whole basement floor which required the dismantling of a large entertainment centre & a very large bar, liquor display cabinet. This required 2 technical people to set up the components/sound system after the work was completed. Again, everything was done to our complete satisfaction.Thank you Alan & Rob who did the cleaning job yesterday, TD Meloche Monnex who helped us 2 years ago & Steve Lewis for his advice & help in quickly arranging our recent carpet & furniture cleaning. We would have no hesitation in using/recommending SM in the future.
