Real estate companies like this one need to stop listing houses at below the prices the clients or agents really want. if your list at 899,900 and truly want 990,000 or higher then list it higher. This play to try to get a bidding war is getting out of hand and will backfire on companies like this. IF you do not have any offers on said listing you should not be able to say you want over asking when you have no one wanting to bid on your listing. This type of bad sales tactics are starting to come to an end. The People (your clients as well) are starting to see shady tactics being used to sell/buy listing. This is not the only company doing this! it needs to stop! Agents that do this can not be trusted & should not get anyone's business.Imagine walking into a store to buy a new bed and the price tag says 499, the sales rep says oh sorry we really want 899 for this bed, its only listed at this price to get a bidding war. You look around and there isn't anyone else in the store. Its safe to say you would have some choice words for that sales rep/ Company and walk out, Never to return.
