I bought 2 in-stock bearing, but ultimately didn't require them. Returned them and was charged a 20% restocking fee. They explained it was because they automatically re order new bearings.... sooooo?...you're free to explain it however you would like. It just comes across as a money grab. Not impressed. I won't be returning until you alter you poorly chosen policy.

I called to order 2 wheel bearings, i gave them all the info and said they would call me right back i waited for an hour called them back and they didn't know what i was talking about because the freaking people didn't actually put in my info what a freaking waste of my time!!!!!!!!! BAD customer service!!!!! and if i could give negative stars i WOULD!

Always helpful and knowledgeable. I'm just a guy fixing tools and appliances around my house, but GBS is always willing to spend the time with me figuring out what I need. A terrific source!

While the staff at GBS is friendly and knowledgeable, I was not impressed by the prices and 20% restocking fee. I bought a set of small bearings for my wife's bike and it totaled $50 for the two bearings. I later priced out the bearings at the local bike shop and they were only $17! Sure the GBS bearings might be higher quality but come on. Anyways, when I returned them they stuck me for a 20% restocking fee. Although I appreciate their customer service I will not be shoping here again.

One of those brick and mortar businesses we need to support and keep open. Really knowledgeable and helpful staff, surprising amount and variety of stock. They didn't have the part number I was looking for (it was even out of stock with the supplier) but found an equivalent solution that was in stock.

Was charged a 20% restocking fee for returning seals that were smaller then what I had ordered. Explained this to the desk staff but they didn't care. GBS was closed on the weekend so I had to order my replacement seals from a competitor. Paying 20% for GBS mistake makes me want to look elsewhere for my seals and bearings

Great Ottawa institution. I would recommend, however, updating the GBS website. It would save me and the GBS staff time and effort if I could browse the product availability online.
