Really great food! It was my first time in Montreal and all my friends told me that I had to have poutine here! I ordered the chicken poutine and it was AMAZING! Added a pina colada on the side and the whole meal was complete!

I’ve come here for years and the last two times have been awful. My boyfriend and I come Sunday night and we were the only ones in the place, the waitress was terrible and super slow. It took 10 minutes for us to order our drinks then another 10 for her to make them. The drinks were good as usual but the fact that it took 20 minutes to get a drink when we were the only ones there was ridiculous. After we finished it took her 20 minutes to come back and ask us if we wanted another drink. She was too busy sitting on her phone at a table and talking to the cook. Then we came back Tuesday night hoping there was a different wait staff, sadly there wasn’t so she waited on us again. We got our drinks and my boyfriend ordered a shot. She took 10 minutes again to make our drinks when there were 2 other tables there and they were already taken care of. She then brought the wrong shot and didn’t check back on us for 40 minutes. Her boyfriend has been here the whole time and she is more worried about him than her customers. On top of that she left the bar for 10 minutes to go get food and she’s the only one here. HOW IS THAT OKAY?!? If I was the owner I would fire her immediately not only did she leave the entire place unattended but she’s turning away loyal customers.

This used to be a mandatory stop when I was in Montreal. In the past you could expect good food and drinks at reasonable prices with an energetic atmosphere.Food is still good, but $9 a pint for Labatt 50 was one of the highest price points I saw.Combined with the basically empty room despite the NHL playoffs...left to find greener pastures and preserve my memories of it's former glory.

Received the bare minimum for service, I’ve been coming here for years and don’t expect much, a pub is a pub and Peel Pub is a classic, but this time our waiter barely greeted us and didn’t even pour glasses when I ordered a pitcher for the table. He was pretty dry throughout the whole time, barely making eye contact when he would bring an order of food. Even hassled me for not paying cash when I went to pay.Personally this kind of service doesn’t deserve a tip. Which I didn’t. He proceeded to complain infront of my table about my lack of tip. I begin explaining my point and he cuts me off stating he doesn’t want to argue and walks away. LOL. Pretty sad service to be honest.TIP = EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

Farrah made the visit worth it! (These five stars are for her!) She was spot on with everything. Unfortunately, putting Farrah aside, everything else was a 1 ⭐️, at best. After searching the area for a patio that would take our large party, the Peel Pub had enough space, plus more. That in itself says enough sometimes.

The greeter was rude and yelling at people, he yelled at the group in front of us yesterday and started yelling at a girl with them all because she asked him if they can be 6 people at the table and he went nuts over her after making her throw away her stuff just so he would let her speak, they left and the group behind us left too. If my friends hadn’t been inside already we wanted to leave too. Very disturbing to say the least. I get that there was a match and a lot of people but the guy should not be impatient and lashing out on customers. Very cringe experience. The food however was good. Farah was a great waiter too.

Saturday : The burger was really good. The Philly cheese steak wasn't too good. People are welcoming. However I got a dirty cup with lipstick on it... Turn off a bitThursday : the specials (food) were not in stock and their shooters (0.99$) is juice.

Went there to check out some sportsstaff was friendly and accommodating. They put the game on with sound ! was a great experience. Farah was running the bar by herself and made sure everyone didn’t wait on drinks , she was working really hard to keep everyone happyHad a burger which was really good and portions were great toohighly recommended!

We came here for the Super Bowl and had a great time. The food was good but the best part was our server Selena. She had us cracking up throughout the game and was very attentive despite it being so busy. She kept the drinks coming and made our day a lot of fun. To summarize, good food, good beer, and great service, 5 stars!
