The front desk staff at this medical clinic is excellent. They are professional, courteous, attentive, and have great multitasking skills. They made my visit smooth and stress-free, and I highly recommend this clinic for their quality of service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my 8 month old here who was very congested, coughing, runny nose. One of the Dr's looked her over very quickly. Told me she sounds fine, wait it out. A few days go by, she's not getting any better. So I brought her to a different walk in clinic, who immediately told me she has a chest infection and needs to go on antibiotics right away. Very unprofessional Dr office.

Called in to see if they were accepting walk in patients. The receptionist said if you come now there is no wait time.I took my son who was running a high fever and was having trouble due to his asthma, based on the wait time the lady gave me.We got there in less than 10 mins and the clinic was packed!!We had to sit for over 1 hour 15 mins to be seen by the doctor.Why say there is no wait if you know your clinic is packed? they couldn't have had an influx of patients in the 10 mins that I took to get there.Poor business practice.

Dr Kamran SarwatIs rude and disrespectful, I had to see her as my family dr Fiona wasn’t in yet. I was tryna explain to her what medication I take and I said “ Dr Fiona knows what works for me” can u believe this lady started screaming at me that I shouldn’t tell her what Dr Fiona knows. So I said ok I’ll shut up, only for h to ask me exactly what I was tryna tell her. At this point I’m searching for a n w family Dr, while I think Dr Fiona is amazing I won’t think a family dr who also does walk in is the best fit for me. I have a condition yet every month I gotta come get pain meds instead of having my meds on repeat or at least have my repeat in the system so when another dr sees my they know exactly what my family dr has approved for me to take. Cause when I have to see another dr I gotta explain everything and they don’t wanna give me what my dr gives me . I’m exhausted and I’m feeling let down by this health care system.

Receptionist is very rude, unorganized and has no acknowledgement or respect for privacy. As seen by the (owner) responses on here, there's no customer service whatsoever. It's a shame because Dr Hu is amazing.

Very disappointing this clinic is always closed on public holidays. All the staff including the receptionist goes on leave . Generally clinics across the world keep at least one duty doctor to assist patients when needed. Seen clinics like Santa Maria and Afiat medical center were open during public holidays too . Thankfully they accepted walk-ins and recommended medication or else going to emergency here means waiting for 5-6 hours very terrible . Another bad review for this clinic is whenever you call the receptionist keeps you hold for minutes. Agreed if clinics is crowded but even if no patient same behavior.Response to your reply:You have assumed thing which I wanted to make it clearFirstly I am not new to canadaSanta Maria was open on Monday 26th Dec had called them and took the walk-in appointment for 9 am and Afiat was open on Sunday 25th Dec had visited them and got the antibiotics for my kid. I came here by appointment, have things planned for the rest of my day and ended up waiting for 1 and a half hour. They are the best at wasting you time and misguiding you.

Edit: the worst, stupid and careless services at its peak here. I came around 2:15 PM with my kid who is not feeling well . To my surprise, they told that the doctor can’t see the walk-in patient till 3PM even if there is no patients there. If it’s the case, please stop advertising this is the walk in clinic.I went there with a kid around 3PM for a walk-in clinic but I was told that there is no doctor available today. They told that the doctor would leave if there are no patients after 3PM. I think it would be great if there is a doctor during the clinic time, especially the walk-in hours available, otherwise there is no use of this facility as a walk-in clinic.

I wanted to set the record straight that I can almost guarantee that any of the negative reviews here are from patients who are the problem. I have never had a more pleasant experience at any clinic than I have at Halton Medix, both as a walk in AND as a registered patient with Dr. Fiona. Both the secretaries AND doctors have gone out of their way to assist me with my medical needs. I visit frequently due to my complications, and they have always been very receptive, helpful, and kind. I never feel judged or disrespected by anybody at this establishment. I recommend anybody to go to this clinic. Also try to remember that doctors and secretaries are also human beings with families and lives, I’m appalled at some of the entitlement in some of these reviews.
