If you were looking to unionize and your search led you here, go back you have made a wrong turn somewhere. This isnt a union, its certainly no brotherhood, nor will they do you ANY good. There is more sense of right and wrong with this office. And more fight in a defensless bunny then this union. Ive seen them fight to keep someone who sexually harassed someone in the workplace from being fired. Ive seen them side with the company on no brainer open and shut cases. And ive heard from many people that they take company bribes. They allowed me to be fired for not being able to do a job my doctor said could be an unsafe due to a health concern. The union has remained unperfessional by all standards. I was terminated in september and i have yest to recieve anything no answer to whats going on no communication, they took an already good contract and gave it all up for one that screwed us and was far wprse than what 6, and to make us vote yes on it they sent around a nasty letter the staff rep wrote like they vanished once i left the building. I feel sorry for whoever is/ or will be stuck with these clowns that call themselves a brotherhood.
