Willowbrae Childcare Academy West Point

Willowbrae and Danielle+Maria in particular have been extremely collaborative, and open to feedback from the very beginning. As someone who works in the early childhood field and program development I had an extremely tough time choosing a place for my 3 year old to attend. We chose Willowbrae because of their child led programming and excellent parent communication. The cameras don't hurt either. When I have had any concern or question the staff and leadership have worked collaboratively to meet our needs. From dietary issues to asking for more detail in reports we really appreciate the attention Willowbrae gives to our child and family needs. The particular class my daughter is in has a lovely teacher who plays calming music and always has a variety of open ended play set ups in the room. They go outside almost everyday, weather permitting of course. When it's cold they have another space for physical activity. No childcare centre will be perfect, (and watch for the ones that claim to be) but an openness to feedback and collaboration has made us feel so comfortable sending our child to Willowbrae. We would recommend West point to anyone.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say. My son loves coming here. Staff are always so friendly, cares deeply for the children and polite. As a first time parent, it was a great comfort knowing my son was there, they keep the kids busy with crafts, singing songs and going outside daily which is a nice surprise to get after work. The environment is bright and helps engages with little minds, absolutely fantastic plus the program promotes a healthy lifestyle . The advancement of my child made in his development was 10 fold as soon as he started daycare here at Willowbrae Academy. With the detailed daily reports I know exactly what my son is participating in and exactly what he is eating during the day. Its such a piece of mind knowing my child is in such a good hands and he loves it there.More Power to all Staff and keep it up! I Highly Recommended this Academy to all Parents looking for daycare!!!

We have LOVED our time at Willowbrae West Point and could not recommend it enough. Our son absolutely loves it there and enjoys going every day as he is a very busy guy. The meals, activities and outside play bring willowbrae above other child care facilities, as well as the wonderful staff and security measures. We have already recommended Willowbrae to friends and they have also been highly impressed.

I love this place! First of all the director Miss Danielle and Miss Maria are very friendly and responsive. They provide fresh meals for your child, they have daily detailed reports and the staf is super friendly. My girls love their teachers they are amazing. Every morning they will wake up happy and excited to see their teachers. Thank you so much for being kind and supportive to my girls. I highly recommend the Willowbare Academy!

We started our son in January of 2022 and we could not be happier. It took some time for him to get comfortable, but now he is excited to go. The Director Danielle is open and honest with communication, and looks out for what is best for the children. If you have any concerns they are quick to address them and make sure that your child is happy. Our son has a mini dino that he takes everywhere and the staff make sure that the Dino gets extra love as well.

We have been with Willowbrae for a couple months now and we continue to be impressed with the quality of care for our little one. The director, Danielle, is fantastic and always responds quickly to every question. The teachers are attentive, creative and friendly. We love that the provided snacks/meals are healthy and follow the Canadian food guide. It’s a huge peace of mind to know our child is happy, healthy and cared-for throughout the day.

We had our daughter here for a total of 3 days and are out a chunk of money now because of it. Starting from the transition days there were concerns. From babies being pushed around on a walk in a crib all together, to not wearing hats or sunscreen on super hot days, and over feeding milk to the point of puking. Oh and not to mention a staff on her phone under a stairwell while the children were literally just sitting in the crib under the stairs and my daughter was crying, how is this programming? No one even set up our biometrics and we were able to easily go in and out of the building. Issue upon issue that is concerning. This facility is overwhelmed and does not read quality care to me. It should have been a red flag to me when the Director went on leave. Trust your mom gut ladies and choose better.

I am absolutely gutted and appalled by the condition my son was in when I picked him up today. His diaper was hanging between his legs (did not appear to be changed at all throughout the day), his pants were also hanging below his bottom, exposing the whole bare of it in the playground in front of all the kids and adults. I cannot believe my child was subjected to such embarrassment and gross negligence. This is the second occurrence where I picked him up in this condition. Absolutely inexcusable.
