The service we receive in person is great however, there is no direct line to speak with someone. Spent over half an hour weeding through an automated service, I was directed to the general call centre. Very frustrating. Spent all kinds of time on hold at the general centre to be given the same AUTOMATED phone number. Not impressed I can’t just call and speak with a teller or branch manager

I was there today. It was an unpleasant experience my conversation with Justyna felt rushed and uncomfortable as if she had no time for me. Maybe the egotistical manchild she had to deal with before talking to me made her upset, but please understand that the rest of us still deserve patience and respect.

The tellers at this branch are lovely and very helpful. I’ve had the help of two different advisors, Gabbi (who is unfortunately not with Scotia any longer) and Neil - both of whom have been prompt to help, very knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. Never felt pressured into something I didn’t want and genuinely felt they were there to help me get the most out of my money with the products they offer. Like any bank their hours are not great, and think they could benefit by hiring some part-time staff (perhaps finance students?) to help extend hours to 7 or 8 on weekdays.

Worst service from Scotiabank. I went to update my personal documents in person and 3 associate working behind the counter were asking why did I came to Guelph branch, 1st of all its my choice where I go. Lady who was asking all questions was really rude and didn’t help at all. When I asked for getting my credit card delivered to my home address she asked me to go to my Home branch. If you guys are not capable of helping your customer from another branch why do you have all this facilities open everywhere. Guess what you just lost a customer and I will never recommend Scotiabank to anyone.

Customers are locked out for almost 3 days every week...and if you work you cant get your money out at all...and these liberals say its for our own good...lolSo many solutions to keep bums out...but they prey on people without cars...and keep your money for themselves....shady lazy bankers

This branch is the worse branch I ever interacted with. The people that work there don't care enough to try to solve your problems if you are there. IT has been even worse now that I am not living in Canada anymore. If you want to open a bank account with them, I would definitely not recommend to use this branch. If you cannot use this bank altogether, you are better off doing that.

I went in for some help yesterday and spoke to Jenny. She didn’t have an answer for me and said she would speak to her supervisor (who was unavailable at the moment) and call me back. I had thought she had forgotten about it as I didn’t hear back all day but no she remembered and called and gave me back my answer. I have had my hits and misses at this branch like the other reviewers but I do appreciate Jenny’s customer service and wanted to share.

Doors to the ABMs are always locked after 5pm… what’s the point of the ABMs only being open during work hours if they don’t require tellers to operate? Impossible to withdraw money here if you work a normal 9-5 yourself, worst bank I’ve ever had to deal with.
