TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

My boyfriend comes to this bank and has been a customer for years. He lost his entire wallet with all of his ID in it. He went to get a new bank card and they forgot to update his new phone number on his account. He couldn’t remember his old phone number so he couldn’t verify he was actually him, he then told them who he works for and what amount of money goes into his account every Thursday. This still wasn’t good enough. The woman allowed him to deposit his cheques and take money out but wouldn’t give him a bank card. He went to the danforth and vp location and they gave him a bank card with a few questions answered. I don’t understandHow they allowed him to take money out of his account but not give him his bank card. This was a total inconvenience and he will be switching banks because of this. I will also be sure to let my friends and family who are with TD know about this and that CIBC is a way better bank with better customer service.

Horrible branch, they still thinking they are under Covid. I tried to use one of the cash machines they are all lock 'till the branch opens at 9 AM wow!!. The one outside (drive through) can't even deposit cash. I don't know why???

I went to this Location, all the people over here very helpful always. And I open my account within short period of time. Employee Ali Afridi helped me a lot while I am the first time customer at TD bank. Thanks to him. I appreciate his help a lot.Though keep in mind there will always a customer who just want to yell at the employee.Thank you for all help today.

Absolutely one of the worst experience ive ever had at a TD branch. The rep named Vikram accused me of swearing at him, then proceeded to call me bro" and refused to service me.I would like to say the other rep who assisted me afterwards was very polite and solve my problem. STAY AWAY!I was reluctant to open an account here but for location convenience, why not?Walked into the branch and the first thing I noticed was that there is a general inquiry welcome stand, but no one is there occupying the stand. It seems odd for a branch to set up a vacant stand. But not a big deal, since we can just go straight into the teller.We asked the Teller if this was the right place to open an account, she quickly replied and advised that we needed to make an appointment for another date. I took a stroll around the branch and noticed that there were 6 offices. 3 of the 6 offices were occupied with Financial Reps but without any clients, and the remaining 3 offices were empty. I walked back to the Teller and advised that it's hard to believe that no one is available to open an account, when the office occupancy at the branch suggested that 3 Financial Reps did not have any appointments at that point.The Branch Manager then rudely approached me with a condescending tone asking what do I need? I advised her that I wanted to open an account and she quickly interrupted and mentioned that no one is available. I tried" to explain that there are Financial Reps available sitting in their office and I was told again that they are not available. At that point

I can't believe how crucial one location can play the *Covid* card against public for thier own convience!I come to next door for coffee, every night ,and witness to poor people All walk of life and they swear to TD bank for l.........

worst managers i have ever encountered at TD branches and other banks !!! There were lot's of inconsistencies the way they cash or make the funds available from a cheque. Some managers would do partial payments, some wouldn't hold because i have deposited a lot of cheques from the same company and never had a problem. but the two male managers who think they were gods were so rude and don't know human compassion and customer care. they couldn't even say sorry we are just following the rules,they just simply said unfortunately! wth! I am thinking to close my bank at TD because they couldn't give a solution and im afraid that they would be useless when the need arises. To all of you who wants to open a bank account go to SCOTIABANK they have a maximum or limit amount for cheque that they wouldn't hold. it is indeed true that the managers at this bank are rude and dont know how to value customer care and loyalty especially the two male managers(Indian and black) !!!

I went to this branch to update my new address, the guy who was dressed like a supervisor and behaved like he was in authority told me he needed to see my ID with the new address. I told him I have an ID with the old address that could prove my identification. Then he insisted that he needed the ID with the new address. I asked him if this was a new policy because I had changed my address for couple of times due to moving but I had never met this kind of policy, even in other cities. He just shook his head and repeated without facial expression, there's always been this policy and I need to see your ID with the new address." I asked whether I could go online or call TD bank to update my address. He said no

Went today to the branch. The teller was nice and respectful but when she had to get another employee , I think her name was Farhad- she was totally the opposite , moody and no customer service , worse than the teller, teller should be the one coaching her.

I spent three days going to the branch to update the POA on my aunts and uncle accounts, and after the third day, and signing of unlimited paperwork, photocopying lawyers documents, I was assured that all is done and the system is updated and should not be any problem in the future. Now, in immediate future, I am facing our worst nightmare. Nothing has been updated and their profile was not up to date and it was embarassing to face the teller who tells you with suspecious remarks that their profile was not updated and I should do all the work again to update their profile. I do not understand, after wasting my time and taking vacation time from work to accommodate their appointments why was the work not done properly. Our family been a client of TD for over 50 years, and specifically to this branch, that is what hurts most. I thing being loyal client does not count for anything nowadays. Very disappointed, and the funny thing is that the branch is closed for business and there is no one we can contact to rectify this means that they created.
