We are one of the eight communities that make up the Mohawk (Kanien:keha’ka) Nation and have historic, political and cultural ties based on Honor, Trust and Respect to the Six Nations people of North America.

Kahnawake Tourism Welcome Center
I had the most amazing guided tour here, which stands out as the best experience I've had while traveling. Dwayne and the guy at reception, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, provided me with an exceptionally informative tour about the history of the Mohawk people. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, going above and beyond by even giving me a ride to the bus station in the next town. If you ever find yourself in Montreal, I strongly recommend visiting Kahnawàke and meeting the people at the tourism center.
