Stitch It Clothing Alterations & Dry Cleaning

I always go to Stitch It for my alterations and they always do a great job! The staff is really nice and always have my best interest at heart. I will definitely keep going there for all my needs.

I used this service a few years ago to shorten the pant length of my ski underwear so that the bottom cuff would not enter the ski boot under my thermal sock and create a pressure point. Last week I returned with a similar pair of ski underwear asking that it be shortened just like the previous time. Since the fabric has some stretch to it, the sewing machine stitch needed to be flexible as well. In both cases, Stitch-It did a perfect job of shortening the garment to the requested length and installing the proper hem. I highly recommend this service.

Great service. I love the fact that they keep you updated by email and text. MY suit jacket was ready ahead of schedule. Folks were really nice. Price is average from what I have seen posted by other place. $45+tax to shorten sleeves.

They’re so great here. I have a hard time finding pants that fit my waist and thighs equally. I took in a pair of pants I love and they made them fit like a glove! And very speedy too!

The actual work done is excellent. The young lady who greeted me and processed my request was lovely. Everything else service wise was extremely disappointing. I'm not sure if the staff were unhappy or were having a collective bad day or what their story was, and I'm not sure I care. I found most of them unmannerly, and for the number of mistakes they made with me, they should check themselves. From trying to serve other customers before me (they had to tell the staff I'd arrived first), to not having my pants ready at the agreed time, then giving me all whole attitude about how I had the wrong date (I didn't, she hadn't realized the month had changed), they were completely out of order. I really don't think I will go back here, but again, my pants look great despite having been done in a supposed rush. 2 stars - 1 for the work done, and 1 for the first employee I met in the store.

I came in for a small adjustment that couldn’t be more than a small line of stitch, so I was shocked when they told me I only could pick it up after 24 hours the day after instead of after I was done shopping like they advertised on the outside.The power went out on a portion of fairview, and unfortunately stitch it was affected. However, I did not realize this because online it says they are open. Knowing the issues with the power, I consistently checked to see if they were open or if there were any updates, and it always said “open” online.I came back at the time I was told to pick up my dress… and surprise they are not open. I am currently undergoing a nervous breakdown as now I no longer have an outfit for the wedding I am supposed to attend this weekend out of the country. I feel this could’ve been avoided if I was notified yesterday when the power went out (I was still in the store, they have some kind of text messaging system), or simply if the wait for such a minuscule alteration was shorter.Now, I’ve effectively paid to not have an outfit for my event. It means I’ve wasted a lot of money on both an alteration on a dress I can never use.

Great place. Received a shirt for an event and the sleeves were too long. It was very short noticed, too tight in time for the other places I checked, but they did the job and it was well-done. Was very satisfied with the result.Service was efficient. Price is ok.
