The staff can change their food schedule whenever they feel like, hoard donations, have communication errors non-stop, practise favouritism, and demands empathy when they should instead be ones giving it, not the clients. You also are not allowed to get upset when any of this stuff happens or else they kick you out for not being settled down". Very very oppressive. You have to remain happy as you see the unacceptable stuff unfolding before you.It is also very evident that the staff do not enjoy being here (they will say otherwise though)

This is a community drop in. It was my first time being there and I was amazed at the amount of food they served it was 9 o’clock in the morning and they were offering fresh fruit cereal bread peanut butter coffee. 1 hour later they serve breakfast which was waffles, eggs, bacon fresh apple toppings.1 hour later they served a take away lunch I was absolutely blown away by the amount of food they served to their community members. The staff were extremely respectful and very well organized.

Amazing agency which offers a drop in, hot meal programs, housing services, mental health case workers, an Overdose Prevention Site and so much more. A very needed resource in the Kensington Market community.

Truly a sacred place that was there for me starting with great meals and friendly, conversational staff. A housing referral, paid training programs, experiences that are life changing. Making people healthier

My children go to their childcare and the staff are wonderful! They learned so much there and the ECEs are genuinely there to take care and love the children there. The staffs are polite, any new staff would introduce themselves to me when I first meet them as well. My kids have learned to speak because of them, they learned discipline, knoweelgr, social skills, everything! The only downside is the managment/maintenance of the building. During Christmas holiday period, half of the heaters broke and maintenance took a whole day before they were able to come to assess what's wrong. Luckily they had portable heater, or the kids would be freezing! Also, I have seen some roofers fixing the roof while the kids were playing the in the playground, they did not bring anything to border themselves from the children. ECE staff just had to keep a close eye to make sure no kids hang around under their job site in case if the roofers fell on them. I did not see the roofers with safety harnesses either, which worries me if the roofers were trained with Working at Heights, which is a liability.Childcare staff: all stars! Management/maintenance: no stars!
