Podgorniak Structural Engineering company was in charge of all engineering tasks during the design and construction of my modern house in Etobicoke. The house is located on a creek and was designed with large open spaces, floor to ceiling windows that fill entire creek side wall (overall windows fill more than 1/3 of all external walls). An additional set of engineering requirements was related to the fact that the house was constructed on a floodplain, which required that it meets rigorous safety standards. Bogdan Podgorniak proposed an engineering solution that met and exceeded building standards. I obtained all necessary building permits without any problems. I highly recommend his services.

I have a 100 year old victorian house which required 11 beams including a steel beam in the basement to create beautiful open spaces. Bogdan did a phenomenal job. The building inspectors were very impressed and pleased with what they saw. If you have an old house that requires any structural work, Bogdan is a clear choice. With his blueprints I had an easy time getting permits and passing the inspections. Absolutely 100% worth the wait and price.
