Had a wonderful experience with Alex at BioPed. Easy and quick process, with great customer service. My orthotics provide all the support I need. I will definitely be back!

I used to dread walking long distances as I had pain shooting up my legs after long walks. I was recommended to go to BioPed for an assessment and boy have they changed my life! I can now go for long walks with my dog without being in pain! I will be going back for all my foot care needs! THANK YOU!

I went to the Thunder Bay location. From the moment I reached out to them via their website, to then speaking with the frontline staff, to meeting with the person who was making my orthotics, I was treated with the utmost respect, kindness, professionalism, and amazing friendliness. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff at this location are. Mark, in particular, is an amazing human being who clearly cares about what he does. The lady at the front desk (I believe her name is Gail) is simply lovely, knowledgeable, and kind. They both go out of their way for their clients. I brought my mother in as well and she is equally impressed with the service and the staff. We are both extremely pleased with the results of having our custom made orthotics. Thank you all so very much!

Unfortunately a misdiagnosis and advice from Mark caused me to purchase the wrong running shoe and sandals that don’t fit properly; a full size larger then I normally wear.I The shoes were a neutral fit when it turns out I need a stability fit. I wasn’t confident in his assessment but he is the professional so I took the recommendation. Marks solution to the sandals was to offer me a smaller size with a 45% discount, nothing mentioned about the running shoe. Wow, more money out of my pocket. Sadly I won’t be returning, can’t afford those types of errors.

The shop/clinic staffs are very helpful, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. I’m very happy with my experience. They are quick and efficient when you ask for quotes/ paperwork for insurance. The shop is a clean environment and well-organized display that makes your shopping more enjoyable and stress-free.

Great service by Alex who made sure I was fully aware with how my life could benefit from having properly fitted orthopedics to offset my non proportioned feet. He took his time to properly asses and answered all of my questions in an approachable manner.

I meet Mark to discuss getting a lift made for my Rt foot. He gave me so much great information and even helped me to get orthotics covered with the lift. He spend an hour with the assessment and over an hour when I came back to have the fitting and again when I picked up the orthotics. I also bought a pair of NB shoes from there and wow what a difference I have felt wearing the orthotics and new shoes. Thank you for all the time you spent and the education I received with getting the orthotics and shoes. They even booked a follow-up appt with me. I really appreciate all of this!

I was a BioPed customer in southern Ontario. Based on that positive experience (several years ago), I went in for custom orthotics at the Thunder Bay location, and was so impressed. Mark is very diligent in the work that he does and took the time to explain my issue and answer all my questions. I highly recommend BioPed for their knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service.

If this review was based on the courteous, helpful & professional service provided by Alex & Gale it would have been a 5 star review. Also, if it wasn’t for them I would have left BioPed Thunderbay without purchasing the shoes Alex had ordered in for me.Gale was helping me try the shoes when Mark (clinic manager) unnecessarily & rudely interrupted saying that I wasn’t to try my orthotics in the new shoes. He said if they didn’t fit I could just go & get the orthotics adjusted. My husband & I knew this was completely ridiculous. He then embarrassed me, in front of everyone, saying my orthotics were dirty, grabbed them off the chair beside me & tossed them on the floor. They are not dirty as they are washed regularly.My husband & I found Marks behavior to be rude, insulting, abrasive, unprofessional & unacceptable!
