Staff seem to be quite unprofessional and unaccomodating, paid 10$ for a terrible printed photo, not even on photo paper. Would rather drive to Toronto than ever ever come back. Had a dating ultrasound and actually had the technician say so you don't know the date of your last period?" With a judgemental tone-like it mattered at this point.I recommend any other clinic

Felt a little discouraged after taking my 4 year old daughter here today. We were greeted by the lovely receptionist at 8:50am. We appeared to be the first patients of the day as they open at 9am and there was one other person in the main waiting room. The receptionist sent us back to wait for the X-ray in a separate waiting room (my daughter and I were the only people waiting).My daughter was called by the tech for her x-ray. The tech spoke to me (not my daughter) and told me my daughter would have to stand on a stool. I instructed my daughter to do so. My daughter was very nervous… she kept hugging me and didn’t want to let go. I was trying to encourage her. I explained it wouldn’t hurt, it was just like having a photo taken. I told her it would be quick, it wasn’t a big deal and I’d be right beside her.After a couple of minutes, with no feedback or explaining to my 4 year old what the process would be to lessen her fear, the tech looked at me and said something along the lines of “you’re going to need to hurry this up, I have other people I need to see.”I was stunned. I had been trying for two minutes straight to get my daughter to feel secure enough to let go of me - surely the tech knew I was trying my best. And surely she knew it’s normal for a 4 year old to feel nervous and intimidated by the huge machine, dark room and a new environment.Everyone is entitled to a bad day, but a little compassion goes a long way. If the tech had simply introduced herself to my daughter and spoke directly to her and instructed her on what to do and explain exactly what was expected and what was going to happen, I am sure the inconvenience of a nervous 4 year old taking two minutes to calm down wouldn’t have derailed her busy day.

Great and friendly staff! I can only imagine how difficult the current health situation is making things for any medical clinic but the technicians here were nothing short of wonderful. They followed the covid guidelines as well which is awesome.If any of the staff here read this I just want to say thank you again! Everyone I interacted with here was so nice.

Dealt with a rude and unprofessional ultrasound technician. I tried to explain my situation about the masking (which I still wore one) and had the audacity to make me where another one. I explained my situation and she either chose to be ignorant or she can't handle that when she says she's responsible for the health and well being that it means a whole lot more than COVID. I told her to stop and continued to be verbally abusive until she didn't want to do my ultrasound.Never felt degraded as a human being and frankly she should not be dealing with the public.

Bunch of mask bullies, won't let you in without one even though that's discrimination. Asked for management, they gave me a phone number to call and told me to leave. Call the number, she's conveniently on vacation for 2 weeks.

If I could give this a negative star I would. I have never been dealt with so unprofessionally and ignorantly by an individual who is representing a company dealing with sick, upset and quite often frightened people.The complete lack of any sort of people skill the receptionist answering your phone and REPRESENTING your company as the first point of contact is absolutely disgusting!Calling to make an appointment for a service you are supply to a vulnerable population, should not be ignorance from the start of the conversation, through-out the conversation and ending the conversation where your receptionist didn't even actually confirm whether or not an appointment was made. I think so ... but I have no idea and now, I don't believe your services are wanted. If your receptionist is this hostile, how can anyone trust their health in your hands through the tests you perform?When I asked if there was an office manger of supervisor I could speak to, her response was 'yep I will have her call you. I asked for her name and she said "I'm not giving you my name". I asked how I would be able to tell the supervisor who I spoke to? Her response was she would tell the supervisor when she asked the supervisor to call me. Guessing from the reviews

I was to Turnbull imaging a couple months ago for X-rays and the radiologist or tech was extremely friendly, the area was very clean as well. I had to call back today to have files transferred to my family doctor and had an extremely unpleasant experience with the receptionist by the name of “Jane”.It’s very unfortunate that one staff member can create such a negative view of a business. She was rude and lacking professionalism from the very beginning, telling me she didn’t have time for me, very unhelpful, and going as far as hanging up on me twice. I still have no idea if my files will be transferred to my doctor. Very disappointed.

I was shocked at the service I received by the receptionist but upon reading these reviews I guess I should not be.I moved to Peterborough permanently over a year ago but am on a waiting list for a physician so my family doctor is at St Mike’s Hospital. She sent me a requisition (after a telephone appointment) for an ultrasound and due to Covid suggested I should not travel to Toronto but instead use a local imaging centre. I called Turnbull and was told very abruptly that they are only booking for Peterborough doctors until June. I said ok if that is my only option, book me for June. And she said no she won’t do that.For a business that is supposed to help the public, I see no evidence of that. I also believe they receive their funding from the ministry of health which does not allow this practice. I am following up on that now.

Having to pay 10$ each visit for 4 awful photos on printer not photo paper is honestly so upsetting. Especially when I see photos other people have from other clinics that they get for free. On actual photo paper. But during a pandemic where they won’t allow partners to come in, you think they would prioritize better quality photos OR provide them cheaper OR provide one free one.Your one technician is AWFUL. She asked if it was my first pregnancy, and I said yes, because my last one had to be terminated and I didn’t want to discuss it. She then argued saying that it was my second not my first. Why does it matter to an ultrasound technician?She shook my belly very hard to “try and move my baby” which I understand that she was trying to get good photos, but I could have walked around the room a little to accomplish it. I was not happy with her aggressively shaking my belly while trying to hold my bladder in.She makes me incredibly uncomfortable everytime I see her. I try to go in on times I don’t think she’d be there. She’s an older lady, she never tells me her name.Also she asked me to put a mask over my N95 mask which made me chuckle, to then come in next month for an ultrasound with a fabric mask and apparently that was fine.Then your one receptionist also booked me an appointment but then told me the wrong date- even though she wrote it down for me. It meant that I missed my appointment!So unorganized and upsetting experiences everytime. Next time I need an ultrasound for my baby I’m going to ask if I can be referred elsewhere. I suggest most people do the same.
