Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Edmonton

Admin hiccups but overall great option.Before check in, had a hard time getting in touch through calls - their reception phone seems to be not working properly, receptionist just kept on saying they can't hear us.Checking in took longer since they had a mix up - someone else's name was in my booking instead but it got sorted. They also let us check in earlier than 3pm so it was nice.Breakfast was fair - wish there are more protein options other than ham and scrambled eggs.Room was great, good airconditioning and beddings. Wish they have more jacuzzi pools since it's quite awkward if some other guests are already dipping there.Overall considering budget, comfort, location, and hospitality, it's a great choice if have to be in downtown.

The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. Everything was nice and clean upon arrival. Plus, you can't beat this location at this price. Everything was perfect in my opinion. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Edmonton.

I grew up downtown and since I was traveling to Edmonton I thought I would be a little nostalgic and spend a couple of nights in my old neighborhood. As a choice Diamond member it seemed fitting to stay in one of their hotels and it so happened they had one in my old neighborhood. The rooms of course have been upgraded and renovated since my days as a young adult partying with soldiers on leave or when we rented a room so we didn't have to make our way home after a busy night on Jasper Ave. The hotel still evoked all those memories for me, as though the brick and mortar were welcoming me back with open arms.Reminiscing aside, there was a stunning lady at the front desk whose personality had just as much beauty as her face, who greeted us with the comfort and smile that is befitting of the hotel name. She is a great first contact for this hotel. I have to say all the staff were very welcoming and attentive to my needs. The lady who provides the hot breakfast did a fantastic job and the food was wonderful with plenty of selection. The owner personally greeted me and introduced himself and went above and beyond. You can tell he leads by example and his staff follow the great example. If this hotel is lacking of anything it is more than made up for by the character of the employees. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in the heart of downtown.

I had the opportunity to bring a large group of 75 students/teachers to Comfort Inn & Suites this past April (2023) for a school trip.I was really impressed with the communication of the manager Gary who would regularly give me a call to make sure they had all the booking details exactly the way we needed for our group. Management even opened up breakfast early for our group so that we could have an early start on our drive back to British Columbia on our last day. Gary took the time to come see me during our stay and to make sure everything was just perfect for our group; top notch customer service!The hotel met the needs of our group perfectly. Everything from the rooms, to the public areas like the breakfast hall, were all well maintained and exactly as described on their website. I really appreciated the fact that there was always security on duty in the lobby and that the front doors locked at 11pm.In addition to great customer service and quality rooming - the rates were very good and parking was provided for our 2 large Motor-coach buses. We were able to keep the overall cost of our trip down because of it.Thank you so much, we would gladly stay at your hotel again.

Very nice staff for sure. The lady at the front desk, I think her name is Cheryl or Sheryl. Extremely nice and willing to help. Facility and derives are really good. Only issue I had was the bed. It was not as comfortable as I expected. Seems to be a bit older. Overall, I’ll still come back.

Had a great experience. Reviews made me nervous when booking but my room was very clean. We opted for the in suit jacuzzi and it seemed clean, the jets could have been more powerful but it was relaxing enough. The only downside was the smoke detector battery was dying when we arrived and they had to climb on top of our clean bedding to replace it. All of the staff I interacted with were extremely nice and the free breakfast was much better than I expected. Lots of hash browns and bacon, standard waffle makers, some fruits and these really good little granola bite things. It is by no means a fancy hotel but we’ll worth the price you pay :)
