Fantastic modern take on Spanish tapas. Small portions, but delicious, and well executed. Not cheap, good to try. One of the best croquettes we tried. Highly recommend you to try their cauliflower and the clam dish, paella and tres leches cake.

Overall food was pretty good. Atmosphere and decor was really nice. There's not tonnes of seating on the inside but there is a patio for the summer. I'm not sure what an authentic Paella tastes like since I have nothing to compare it to, but it was very flavourful. My favourite thing that we ordered was the 1/4 octopus and the churros at the end. For all the oyster lovers out there they have dollar oysters every Wednesday and Thursday! Service was great and attentive. Definitely a cute little spot!

Decoration is pretty. Table was a bit small for dishes. But foods were super nice. We ordered 3 tapas and a paella. They all taste amazing. Services was excellent too. Will definitely come back. They also have good selection of wine.

I will have to say that overall this place was okay. We got a couple of different items however they weren’t that great or flavourful. The paella was not that great and I’ve had better in other Spanish restaurants. The appetizers were decent, the Patatas Bravas being the star of the show with the amazing sauce and taste. The drinks were delicious however I’m not sure if I would be back here. The entrées were mediocre at best. The staff were pretty nice and the vibe was cozy.

The best place for oysters! I have heard nothing but amazing things about all their dishes and definitely need to come back for the paella and squid ink. One of my fave spots in Port Credit. It never disappoints!

The food and service were great. We ordered a couple of paellas and a few tapa dishes, I highly recommend the octopus dish, It was very tender. We thought all the tapa dishes were excellent and delicious. The paellas and the Cornish hen were alright, we liked the hen better actually. Furthermore it was pretty easy to find a parking spot.

Came on a Friday evening. Reservations for indoors. Very tight inside but the decor really puts you in Spain. We were a group of 6 and was able to share quite a lot of items. The octopus was cooked to perfection that we didn’t have to over chew or cut it. The potato croquette had the right amount of crunch and fluff. The sour dough bread with tomato was sweet and tangy. The pork was cooked tender enough to not over chew with vegetables filled with flavour.Now the paella- it’s not your traditional paella but still enjoyable. We got the one with chicken and lamb + squid ink. The squid ink was very unique but I did enjoy the more traditional flavour of the chicken and lamb. What I missed was the crips of the rice that I’m used too - but the flavours were all there.Would recommend and would return - also all the servers were amazing!

I was so looking forward to having an authentic Spanish meal and I can confidently say I was not disappointed.Right from the intimate ambiance and decor. It gave a very Spanish Vibe.What surprised me when I was handed the menu was they had a huge variety of drinks but not that much of food variety. I suppose that is why it’s called Bar Catalina.Our server was friendly and helped us with some descriptions and suggestions.Sangria was delicious. Octopus was succulent! Cauliflower was so creamy and had a hint of saffron!Seafood Paella was ok for me and so was the charcuterie board of meats.Service was great till it became busy as there was only one person taking orders for drinks and food and doing the rest.parking can be found around the restaurant or the side streets in Port Credit.they do have an outdoor patio which of course was not opened as it was cold today and the inside of the restaurant is not that big so do make a reservation.Would def go back to try the other food items on the menu.
