Spire Alexandra Hospital

Avoid this hospital at all cost. I am so stressed. Staff are rude, They don’t care about you if you’re NHS. Complaint made still no resolution, I’ve been told get on with it basically. They all stick together and turn on you, and will leave you feeling hopeless, they can treat you like they want basically. Don’t expect to be treated like a person here. I certainly wasn’t.

Attended The Spire many times over the years, never had a single problem. Very good service.

Just been through a couple of pre surgery appointments. Everything ran like clockwork. Had to cancel one due to a family bereavement and they couldn't have been more helpful and understanding arranging another was so quick and straight forward. A very positive experience all round. Just waiting for surgery appointment to come through, everything has been explained, twice and doubtless will be confirmed nearer the time all of the minor worries I had were explained and I'm quite looking to it to tell the truth.

Outstanding care. The members of staff in reception always smiling and so helpful, quick response to calls and emails. I saw Mr Penman a few times who was lovely and genuinely wanted to help. One of the treatments was in x-ray department and again the staff there was lovely and made me feel at ease during my hycosy. Fast results and reasonable prices for faster peace of mind. Will return when needed. Thanks

I just wanted to pay to check the quality of my swimmers in preparation for a baby. Should be just a simple test which I’m happy to pay for privately but no, they want more money! I for some reason have to pay for a consultation first which is almost £200!!! What the hell for? There’s no need for a consultation on this occasion. I’ll find another solution!

I thought I would use my private healthcare as nhs wait time was 21 weeks. Haven’t been to this hospital before wow I was impressed. The staff was friendly and my dr was lovely and explained things to me well. I would highly recommend using this hospital

I was a bit apprehensive of how I would be treated as the reviews aren’t the best for being an NHS patient going here however it is the best care I have ever received. Every single member of staff feels like a friend and the doctor was communicative and so clear throughout the whole procedure. We are now looking into paying for private thanks to this hospital

NHS patient referred by GP for small surgical procedure on left hand...Required to wait in car until collected by staff, private room to wait until my place on surgeons list.Everything was explained to me before, during, and after procedure, enjoyed a light meal afterwards. When my wife arrived to take me home, a member of staff was kind enough to make her a cup of coffee, as she'd had a difficult rush hour journey, and needed a break.Everyone was kind, helpful, tolerant,and understanding, I'm appreciative of the care I received.
