I've been here a couple of times since moving into the neighbourhood, and for the most part they've all been pleasant. However, my last trip left a terrible impression. I was in last weekend, and simply wanted to take shellac off. One of the girls told me it would take 15 minutes - great. Unfortunately, the nail tech I eventually sat down with must have been new (there's very high turnover here), she's very sweet, but instead of using a dremel, she delicately scratched at the nails with a file, which not only took a long time but didn't breakthrough the coating. Another lady then came over, grabbed my finger and tried to demonstrate, except she did it so roughly that she filed right over my skin. There was no apology, no acknowledgement. It's now over 25 min and I had to leave (my nails at this point looked ATROCIOUS). I came back a few hours later to find that all desks were busy - was told about a 10 min wait - which turned into 20 min...and even though I didn't have an appointment, there was no indication at all that they wanted to make things right. Instead I was made to feel like it was my fault for not making appointment when it was their fault for not doing the job properly in the first place. Eventually, I gave up and left when I realized I had wasted close to an hour that day, getting nowhere, and nobody seemed to think there's anything wrong with that. Very disappointing, especially since I had gone here several times before.

Terrible service, made two of my nails bleed, and tried to paint over the blood without dabbing it. Toe nails were filed into stubs! So aggressive and rough. Charged me two dollars extra for a regular colour they claimed was longer lasting but it’s literally regular OPI. Then when I only wanted to tip 1$ for this terrible service, they stopped me from leaving demanding more in tips! Will never return.

Got my nails done for my sister's wedding, went there on Friday and the nail has already popped off Monday morning with no pain!!! I've been getting my nails done for years, this is very bad quality!

Visited this nail salon for the first time recently as I moved into the Neighborhood. They were very busy when I walked in but they accommodated me later for an appointment. Suzie did my manicure and June did my pedicure. Both nail technicians gave me beautiful results. I appreciated the extra care and time June spent on my pedicure as I walk, hike alot. I will be returning to this nail salon and would recommend them to others.

Lovely nail salon on St. Clair. Prices are reasonable and the service is amazing. They have a huge variety of shellac colors. Additionally, my manicure is always flawless when I get my nails done here.Although, the salon is almost always busy, they do try to accommodate walk ins. To ensure fast service without a wait, I would suggest booking an appointment due to the volume of customers that frequent this nail salon.A nice plus; they will over you tea while you are waiting or having your nails done.As for the salon space, it is nicely decorated and very clean. There is a TV to watch during your appointment and they somehow always seem to pick shows or movies that I enjoy.Highly recommended!

tried nail boutique for the first time today and had a great experience! it’s a calm and relaxing space, very clean and neat. i got a shellac manicure and it’s perfect. will definitely make this my regular salon.

Normally I would give this salon 5 stars because I’ve been going there for the last 2 years and the ladies that do my nails are amazing. However, I didn’t appreciate coming to my appointment today and there were dogs running around the salon. Initially, I thought the first dog was a service pet, so I was okay with it even though I’m slightly scared of dogs. However, when I saw one of the staff bring in their dogs, I got the impression that these 2 dogs were indeed not service pets.

Got a version of a French manicure and the nail technician really took care to get it all looking perfect. This is a nice, bright and clean place. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

I got a shellac manicure here during the day. Space is nice and bright, and most importantly clean. The staff are also professional and friendly, and take their time to do a great job.

I go here a lot because I work on the building. I've, always had a great experience and the price is competitive, better than the other places in the neighbourhood They are accommodating when you pop in. I find the shellac lasts and they do a hood job and make sure to add a few extra rounds under the lamp for curing.It's always easy to say good things when things go right, true test of service is when things go wrong and I can now give high marks for this as well...Four days after my last shellac I noticed a smallish chip on one finger and some wear on other tips. I popped down to show them and within ten minutes, the chip was fixed and extra coats on both hands so they look good as new!
