The nurse didn't call me Audrey Daly to let me know Mom is all right but had to call my sister that she from out of town.

Have yet to even have a meet and greet with my 2nd RN,haven’t been in the office since covid thats bad enough but now they want 20 days notice for a refill and even when that is done 10 times by my pharmacy it still takes weeks before I get itThere is no other option for health care its really sad.

I would only give half a star but it won’t let me. I had an absolutely wonderful nurse but during Covid she resigned. I called this place about five times a day within their supposed open and phone answering hours I also will make sure to avoid their lunch hours that they say they do not pick up the phones during.. Alas no one ever picks up the phone and there is no ability to leave a message for the doctors office to make an appointment I have extreme food allergies I need to be tested immediately but I have tried for weeks.. I simply don’t make annual check ups because of how badly the front desk staff are at calling and returning calls and now with Covid it seems like they’re just using that as an excuse to slack off with their work and don’t answer the phones at all or allow for messages to be left. The VON is just horrible in this way they do not care about patients or at least the front desk does not care. I do not recommend them now, there may have been one time when I had the wonderful nurse practitioner that I would’ve recommended her to others but now that she’s gone there’s no reason also I find there’s always sketchy drug attic’s and homeless people hanging out intimidatingly around or in the front office warming up begging you for money.. this is very upsetting Especially during Covid times considering they don’t wear masks. Not a nice place to visit or to call . Horrible !

I need to make an appointment and it's extremely important to get this done but I'm getting machine every time.. It's not a 911 emergency but it is an emergency!! I need an Appt with my np. I'm 2 hours away. I'm can't afford the 4 hours driving back n forth to make an appointment. They rarely answers the phone. You can call all day and get zip. Just a message saying we're on the phone or away from the desk. So let me get this straightAll dayDuring business hoursYou are one hundred percent on the phone or away from your desk. Mmmmm seems like lazy is more appropriate... And very triggering for my CPTSD I'm ready to smash my phone against the concrete floor I'm so frustrated by these professionals""

For years I was paying for in home visits from a VON foot care nurse, she rates 5 stars herself. My major complaint certainly has nothing to do with her at all. I am though extremely annoyed with the head honcho of the Peterborough VON foot care service who discontinued the in home service as of March, 2019. The reason being that they don't find it economically feasible anymore. I know I absolutely would have been willing to pay as much as $100 per visit ($60 had been the cost). Quite likely some others, if not all on her route would have been ok with such an increase so as to still be able to receive an important medical service.This has left myself (and others) who don't drive in an extremely difficult, if not impossible situation when it comes to getting necessary foot care. Not only do I not drive but … I live alone, have no one in the rural area that I live who will take me to Peterborough to attend the VON office there … which is approx. an hour drive away.The inconvenience and annoyance this has caused is beyond description. Well, I could describe it much more so but my review wouldn't be posted. I am going to have no choice but to have my 80 year old Mother drive out to get me every 2 months to take me to Peterborough so I am able to see the VON nurse for foot care. That will require 4 hours driving (round trip) from where she lives in Peterborough to come and get me, take me to Ptbo. for an appointment, drive me home AND THEN drive another hour to get herself home … not to mention the cost of gas!Whoever made the decision, head honcho who's name I don't know, one would think that before greed clouded your vision you would have at least considered keeping the in home service by charging more money. No consultation with any of the clients, just canceled out of the blue with a letter sent out to say so. Finally, in your organization's numerous clerical/receptionist's mistakes that I have been privy to over the years … you didn't even send the letter to me about the in home service being cancelled!

If I could give less than one star I absolutely would.They absolutely never pick up their phones during the hours that they supposedly are answering phones they also do not allow you to leave a message so you can’t even get in touch with your own doctor/nurse practitioner to set an appointment up when you need it and you’re having health concerns. Their service is absolutely awful because of this and it’s just gotten absolutely worse since Covid.. They never call and have follow-ups or check-in’s to see if you want to make even a yearly appointment.. I pay for my own healthcare out-of-pocket.. they need to answer their phones or Stop advertising saying that they actually answer the phones at these hours when they don’t I’ve been trying to for months to get a hold of somebody to make an appointment with my doctor for allergies.

Staff are not qualified to assist Special Needs Adults. Very unprofessional to let a Caregiver know that the staff hate a client!
