Sal and his team are an outstanding bunch of people. I had vehicle failures down in Surrey and I couldn’t get a couple bolts out so I swing into Onyx to have a chat. Even though they had over 8 vehicles in the air in front of me they took time out of the day to take a few minutes to address my concerns. Although they couldn’t resolve the issues I had there they gave me some great pointers and I was able to resolve my issues around the corner in a parking lot. Huge thanks to the team there and I would Houghton recommend them for your vehicle repairs.

Price is highest in the area.Service is not even good. Leak start happening again after 6months.I finally find time to take my car but it was only 2 - 3 DAYS after a year of service and they just told me discounted amount which was more expensice than other mechanics in the area. Do NOT recommend to anyone.

Took my Mercedes Benz GL for suspension issue. Replaced a valve block and battery for $1800. Went to pick it up found out the issue still not solved. So asked me to wait few weeks while they diagnose. Then the Tech lost my remote with keys and secretly replaced with a new remote with uncut key which doesn't work, then told me my keys don't work. Lucky I had a backup key. Now I get a call from new owner asking to pickup my GL without repair as all of the tech left.

Took my Audi Q7 for an oil change, a plugged rain water drain and a stuck rear seat belt, because it was close to home. (Onyx has a new owner since last year who only has a good sales pitch). The apprentices" working there do not appear to be well trained. Was asked to pay the invoice at closing time

I bought a used BMW 318ti and did not know what to expect. Dave let me know just for even a look at it it’s $$$. All in all they were really clear and the mechanic Arnold that fixed my coolant leak, changed the oil, and put in a new thermostat did great work so far. Not the cheapest work in town, but quality work isn’t cheap, and cheap work isn’t quality.

I bought a 2012 BMW 650i convertible April 2021 from Onyx...beautiful car! Turned out to have some electrical glitches though where the battery was always draining. The Onyx staff spent hours trying to diagnose problem at little cost to me. They solved the issue even when the BMW dealership could not. Any service will always be done through Onyx. CR is very knowledgeable and supportive in addressing any situation you might have. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't recommend anyone, I asked them to check on my fuel door which wasn't opening and they just went ahead to chip off the plastic from the fuel door. If it wasn't repairable then they could have discussed before doing that, now that when I need to get it fixed properly I was informed that I need to replace the switch along with an unexpected fuel door, obviously you can't fix a plastic back. In all cases, they could have discussed before doing this and now I would have to deal with this ordeal.They might have done good service in the past but for simple job, they ruined it completely, didn't expected this kind of workmanship from such an elite store.

My wife took her Honda Fit in because it was lagging and stalling. They did not diagnose the problem and did an oil change instead, which was totally unnecessary because the oil was changed 8 days earlier. Second appointment they found the issue and replaced the ignition coils. A month later she got her breaks done. New rotors and pads. A week later she hears metal grinding and scraping noise in the right tire. Something was not done correctly during the break job. So this morning she takes the vehicle there to get the brake repaired again, she was turned away and told that they are all booked and they won’t fix it for a week. They don’t stand behind their work. They don’t treat their customers well. Two strikes on two visits. Never again.
