We had a family dinner here. They are very proud of their seafood and Cantonese cuisine. Their special combo includes 1, 2, 3 or 4 dishes selection are value for money, competitive in price but not compensated in food quality. It comes with a fresh double lobster dish combined with variety of Cantonese cuisine choices. Started from the daily special soup, lobster, the pork chop, spicy fish fillet, fried veggie, steamed minced pork are high standard. The dinner is closing with the deep fried durian balls. We enjoyed the night and we sure we'll come again with a bigger family.

Saw some good reviews on this place but not too good for me. We ordered the grouper combo (didnt add $18 for the grouper soup nor $8 for the tail portion and we had the skate) and added the razor clams. Shredded chicken came first and looked fine but seems not to be seasoned enough. The sweet and sour pork was crispy and tasty but the pineapple and onions seemed to be on the verge of going off! Yellow grouper fillet with veggies was okay although the choy sum was over cooked and limp. The razor clams were also overcooked and chewy but the garlic bits were the most tasty. The grouper dish was well presented but the broccoli was bland and cold. The overall value is good but a bit too bland for us. Service was decent and attentive and we were served mung bean soup as dessert.

Went for dinner on a Wednesday, quite busy or a weeknight. Prices are very reasonable. Huge menu of seafood and non seafood choices. Friendly staff. Food was excellent. Lots of “wok hei” and ingredients were fresh. Ordered lobster, clams and oysters for two ppl. Clams were our favourite.

First time at this relatively new restaurant. The interior is modern and relatively clean. The service is pretty good for a Chinese restaurant (IMO).We opted for their lunch specials which are offered from 11am to 3pm.I ordered L11 Chicken with Ginger Onion on Rice, $7.99 (comes with house soup). They say the chicken is free-run chicken. For the price, it is a great deal to get a massive plate of white rice, some vegetables and some protein (eating relatively nutritious and on a budget at a restaurant - can't ask for more). The chicken is cooked through, very tender and based on the size, appears to be free-run chicken.A lot of other tables were chowing down on their seafood specials - take a look at the menus!

This Chinese restaurant is quite new in the plaza and serving Cantonese cuisine. It’s used to be the location for Asia legends. We ordered special combo with :1. double fresh lobsters in Hong Kong style, 4/52. steamed chicken 4/53. Free soup 5/54. tofu 4/55. pineapple sweet and sour pork 4/5Overall good quality with good portion, 1 point off for additional charges for father’s day, which is unreasonable.

Food was well made and tasty. Food came out quickly and prices are very fair. The owner was very friendly and helped us pick the best option on the menu for what we wanted. Overall great experience here and I am very glad they accept credit card.

I tried this new Chinese restaurant with some friends today. The food is amazing and the price range is very reasonable. We ordered a 4 dish combo which comes with one seafood dish, a chicken dish and your choice of 4 additional dishes (soup and steamed rice are included)@$79.99. We also added 4 additional dishes @$9.99 per dish. This fed 10 people. Their HK tea is also very rich and smooth. I even bought a 2L jug to go. The staff were wonderful and very attentive. Highly recommended.

I don't know when Happy Fishman replaced the Asian Legend but I wish I knew earlier. This place is very nice! The food quality and price is extremely fair. I will definitely be back with my family. The most popular combo is probably the lobster/crab/bass one that comes with your choice of one to four dishes, a chicken dish, soup, and steamed rice. We chose the lobster, and due to market price we had to add $15 on top of the base price. But I still think it was very worth it, where else can you get a lobster dinner for under $100? It comes with two lobsters and can be made into HK style, which was very tasty and the portion was actually pretty good. We chose the three dish combo which came out to $76 + $15 surcharge for the lobster, which is very good value in Toronto these days. The dishes are good sized dishes as well, and the Sichuan boiled fish was one of the better ones I've had in Toronto which was surprising to me! The only miss was the 梅菜扣肉, which did NOT look like a traditional 梅菜扣肉. It was a meat patty with the preserved vegetable on top of it, which is pretty weird since I didn't think there were interpretations of this dish. I didn't like the taste of this one either, so I'll probably pick something else next time. The last dish we got was sweet and sour pork and it was good.Definitely will be back. Service was decent for a Chinese restaurant, if a bit slow.

This spot has some great food and great deals!I found them through the swingby app with a 20% off meal for two! They have two types and I tried both! The one that takes the cake is the lobster meal deal that comes with lobster fries, chicken fried rice, spring rolls, sweet & sour pork, and a hot & sour soup! And trust me, the portions were huge! It actually fed a family of us 4! So worth the money!Second one was sichuan boiled fish, fried rice with lobster tomalley, deep fried sesame chicken, fungus with vinegarThe lobster in the first meal was cooked hk style and so good! The fries weren’t anything wow, but a nice little add on to the lobster. The sichuan fish in the second meal was my fave! Had the slice, but also the fish was so smooth and silky!Service was awesome! All so super friendly and attending to our needs! I did do takeout for the lobster meal, but the fish meal I had dine in so got to experience both sides!Just as an FYI, they also have a huge bunch of lunch deals too!Definitely a nice little gem in metro square! Great job overall!

I saw many Foodies post about how good price, good portion and tasty food here at Happy Fishman 漁民樂. What impresses is that...you can order a big fine dining seafood group combo but they also offer daily special lunch and afternoon tea and a la carte dinner menus.I ordered a sweet corn fried fish steam rice with a big pipping hot Chinese boiled soup, all for $7.99 + tax! With insane inflations and high food cost, where do you find a dine-in restaurant that offers big portion tasty food and soup?I also ordered a satay beef fried noodle ($8.99 + tax) to go, it comes with soup and they separate the sauce from the fried noodles to keep it crispy and not soggy.Their lunch menu has a long variety of lunch options, starting from $8.99, $9.99, etc.The staff are hardworking, flexible and friendly. I highly recommend this place, it's close to the hwy 404 and ample of parking lot inside the Century Square plaza. At Happy Fishman, the staff, the customers will eat happy and get home with their stomach satisifed.
