St Bridget's Church
Wonderful ruins of a beautiful building in quite an unexpected location. With a graveyard running down to the water, and Edinburgh Castle in the distance this is such an atmospheric spot on a warm Spring evening. Fascinating history, too.

What a beautiful place to find this Kirk. The scenery is great and compliments the setting. The Kirk is well preserved as are the grounds and allows you to peacefully enjoy your time there. Great history and information available and look out for the coffin house.

Very enjoyable. Lovely to see some old structures still going strong after 100s of years.

A lovely small kirk in a sheltered spot overlooking the forth. You cannot drive close by, instead there is a small area to park on a leading road by the Cornerstone church. From there it is a short walk on a road to the kirk, with some ups and downs if you have a pushchair or wheelchair. Some of the houses on the way have small fairy gardens which the kids will enjoy spotting. Access to the inner church grounds is through a kissing gate and the grounds are not flat and getting down to the beach is through a mud path. It's right on the coast with good partial views out to inchcolm and the bridges.

Visited this picturesque ruin back in October. Overlooking the coast of Fife, St Bridget’s Kirk is a beautifully sited church around since 11th century , but fell into ruin around the 19th century. The aisles of the church has some well preserved medieval elements and the loft remains in good enough condition.

Beautiful place, amazing view and great history! Ideal for a nice walk going through woodlands, cliffs and sea side.Only downside, it is sometimes the squat for some dodgy people.
