Tamarac Island Inn

We stumbled on this gem of a place when we were finally able to travel to Ontario to visit family after three years. Everything about it was just perfect and Melony was an amazing host! The cottage was so quiet and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The swimming was amazing and access to the various boats/paddleboard was a bonus that we very much enjoyed. Everything was so clean and well maintained and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We have recommended Tamarac Island to a number of friends and will definitely keep it on our list of places to return to in the future!

Beautiful location. Spotlessly clean. Beavers and turtles at your doorstep. Beautiful place for photography. Would definitely recommend a visit.

My wife and I needed some sort of getaway for relaxation and pre-wedding pictures and we couldn't have been more blessed and grateful for this haven of a spot! I want to thank melony and her husband for being so kind and selfless they are truly wonderful. This location has it all and we couldn't have asked for more! It far exceeded our expectations, great value for what is one of the best memories my wife and I will forever cherish! We will defintely be back here!P.S. They provide the BBQ grills, bicycles, paddle boat! They have such a lovely dock and that outdoor kitchen/bar is the icing on the cake! Such a great view of the lake from the inn! Also, so much to do around there, adjacent to the inn there are some lovely sights to behold and if you can catch the sun coming down just breathtaking! Bonfire night was also heavenly all at your disposal! WOW! I'm bringing my fishing rod next time can't wait to be back!

Wow! What an amazing get-away at such a reasonable price! Tamarac Island Inn and Motel exceeded our expectations! The lake view is amazing from all rooms, the dock is awesome for fishing, the little sandy beach is terrific and the paddleboat, canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddle boards are perfect. We had so much fun sipping and relaxing in the four-person floaty that we tethered to the dock. Be sure to wear the life jackets and don't underestimate the current past the docks!!! Plenty of bicycles are also available for free to enjoy the surrounding nature.The owners could not have been more helpful and generous with their time! They genuinely care about their guests, leaving sunscreen for those who forget and treating others with their vast knowledge and history of the area. One cleaning staff dutch-braided my daughter's hair when I mentioned that I liked her braid, and another ran to get me a milk pitcher to hold my bag of milk when I didn't even ask. The new outdoor kitchen makes you feel like you are at a resort in the Caribbean except that you go both behind and in front of the bar". They have a barbecue

Beautiful place to stay! The lake is gorgeous and there's a little beach for kids to play on. There's kayaks, boats, a bonfire. My daughter didn't want to leave! It was pretty hot with no ac and the WiFi wasn't great but worth it for the location. We had a great time!

We had a great time at Tamarac. The host is extremely helpful and attentive. Also, it’s a good location and the property is well maintained (clean rooms, bathrooms, etc)

Such a cute place to disconnect and unwind. Super clean, truely water front. Very friendly staff and owners. Definitely recommend. Love the outdoor kitchen too go prep some meals

Absolutely beautiful visit! The beach front is stunning! Perfect for putting the kayak in! Tried paddle boarding, plenty of life jackets to choose from. The boat launch is nice with an updated dock. Highly recommend
