London Residency Inn

Very obvious the place has bugs. Left and was covered head to toe in giant welts and bites. Manager told me it was my fault that I got bit and refused to do anything about it. He gave me 1/4 what I paid for 2 nights and told me I was no longer welcome there. I called the health unit so they will be inspecting it soon. Rude manager, smells like burning plastic in there. The rooms all have a white dust outside the doors. I would avoid this place completely unless you want the stress and uncomfortableness of bug bites. The sheets were stained the pillows were flat none of the tubs or toilets were in a decent condition. Place is a complete disgusting scam.

Friend recently stayed there and woke up with bed bug bites all over her body. Spoke with the manager and he threw her out and banned her from the inn. Did not provide refund or offer to pay for laundering fees and would not listen. Calling the health unit and BBB. Do not go here unless you want to bring bed bugs home with you.

I needed a place to stay that was cheap or at least reasonable like not over 100.00 and that didnt require a passport or drivers license to book a room...i just needed a clean bed to sleep in and a shower to clean up in and this place had both plus a new flat screen tv , fast internet and a cold fridge to keep those beverages chilli...not that i needed it but hey for anyone else just passing through or needing a clean place to rest and wash up..this is the one! If i needed anything the staff certainly went above and beyond to help accomodate me even with a late check out because of last minute personal problems ...thanks guys!

I checked in and checked out 10 minutes later... this place is a dump and it is unsafe... there were no locks on the windows, there was a space under the door large enough for my hand to fit under and the door DID NOT LOCK!! The bathroom was not cleaned and the bathtub was filled with hair I didn't even dare check the bed as I am sure it was infested with bed bugs, the whole building smelled like cigaret smoke and had been poorly painted I assume to cover up the smoke stains that were made obvious by the yellow colour of the mini fridge in the room. I should have turned around as soon as I pulled in, the building is very run down, the font lobby was not a lobby at all and all three individuals working (possibly the owners) were not wearing masks. When I told them I was checking out and would not be staying they asked why and I explained all the above reasons and one of the men (I think this was the owner or manager) said okay lets go look so I can see" no sir I am not going to the room alone with you I am checking out

One of the mangers gave me grief because I had a bicycle and wanted to bring it into my room. He told me he'd even call the cops to have me removed. He couldn't provide me any kind of logical reason for this, but rudely and offensively suggested it wasn't his problem that there wasn't any alternative other than either abandoning either my bike or my room. He seemed to not notice the state of the room, complete with holes in walls and other preexisting damages would actually not be affected by the presence of a bike, or that it caused issued of any sort in any form, other than the one he created with his policy and his ignorant attitude toward the topic. Everything else was what you'd expect for a cheap room. It was good for what one paid. No other issues, decent enough, and comfortable for what it was. Too bad that manager fought for a useless policy so much it'd reduce business to enforce it, and waste potential income on time spent arguing in favour of a policy which isn't worth its own existence. Manager should know a thing about business if they are to manage a business. Just bad business practice to be against making money

The large man that works front desk said I’m not getting my deposit because I’m checking out too early, it was 6:30am. Said I had to wait until 10am. Started yelling and screaming at me, calling me names. So I tried to go outside to wait in my car with the remote and key and he threatened to call the cops and charge me .Also, the rooms are bare with nothing but a wobbly broken table, Mis-matching sheets with a stained mattress underneath. Don’t let this place fool you, it’s cheaper to stay anymore else even the most expensive hotel cause they will rip you off and keep your deposit! My room was left spotless and I gave the key and remote back. Wish I could put Zero stars!

Great staff, best rates in the city! Clean rooms would recommend anyone looking for q decently priced place to stay for the night or weekend :) would come back 10000%

If I could I would give this place 0 stars! Didnt even stay 2 minutes. Place was disgusting, hard bed, nasty sheets, smelled of harsh chemicals. Bathroom was run down and nasty too. Never again stepping foot near this place.

Dark, dingy and dirty. Not ever before have I stayed somewhere that told me I had to wash my bedding. Can't find a tv remote for me so I had no way to turn it off when I wanted to sleep. I had a remote for the tv box, so I was able to change channels, but no to volume and no power. I found this place to be very scarey situation, staying at this place. The only good things about it is its close to argyle mall, and the price.

Beware this is not a hotel/motel, there is not even a proper front desk, this is a place for people that have nowhere to go to live cheap.How this place has a 3 Star Rating in google is absolutely insane!I was in the room long enough to shower and when I got out I noticed and killed a large bed bug and that was it for me!I also noticed in the hallway around the edges of the walls and doorways a large amount of powder so when u walk down the hall it gets in your mouth.Obviously they were trying to cheaply get rid of the bugs!At least the staff was not argumentative and gave me a full refund.
