Had a great time with my friends yesterday! Many great board games, VERY friendly staff, not to mention they were very smart and knowledgeable about each board game. The food was pretty good as well! I definitely will come back here again with my friends.

Amazing place to play games in Guelph. Lots of selection from family all the way to heavy strategy. A number of games on sale as well. Really awesome program for frequent board game enthusiasts. Highly recommended for small or larger groups. Food is pretty decent. Staff is really friendly.

The selection of games is great. Atmosphere is nice. However the music was turned up so loud it was grating and our Italian sodas were unstirred making them bland as hell until we reached the bottom of the glass and they became unbearably sweet.

Great place! Food was good. Perfect munchies for playing games. Spent a lot of time here playing a few different games. Honestly there are so many games to chose from that everyone can find something to play! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Love going to The Boardroom! The selection of games is awesome and the people who work there are always so friendly and willing to help out with explaining games when they can.The menu is good for snacking and the milkshakes are the best. They are fully licensed so you can even have a specialty milkshake" along with a selection of local beer

Honestly a great place to go! They have an imoressivr selection of games (tonnes that I've never heard of and all the games I hoped they would have) and their food is good too! The fact that I can reserve a table for me and some friends, hangout and have a few beers, and just walk to a nearby bar after is a great formula for a good weekend!Definitely will go again!

Good lighting, large selection of games and licensed. We had the nachos with chicken and it was ok - not the best nachos I've had but tasty. Could have had more chicken on them.

Great place to go with friends for a birthday party. Huge selection of boardgames and the staff are awesome. Make sure you have a milkshake when you are there.

Have been here multiple times now, and a couple months ago the service was great! More than 2 workers, and constantly asking if we were okay! But now its not as good, I had to wait more than 30 minutes for food, when it wasn't actually that busy. The waiter only dropped the menu then left and never checked up on us and I had to go up to them and ask for my food. Menu has also changed and pretty sure the prices have gone up. :( I'll still be going back because I love board games, but hope the service gets better!

Supported the Kickstarter for this business and boy did the team deliver! First time in the cafe I was totally blown away! Huge game library (450+), great menu and retail section has some of the most competitive prices on games I've seen in a while (even better than J&J's in KW on some titles!). The staff are very knowledgeable, personable and full of enthusiasm. Chairs are super-comfy, can sit for hours and still feel cozy. Tables are what you want in a gaming cafe, large and modular, can accommodate even the largest of games for big groups and still have room for dinner and drinks! Highly recommend as a must-visit in downtown Guelph! PS - love the fact that they support local artists, they also have Pommies Cider and Royal City beer on tap! =)
