Stayed here in August 2021. Nice location, good size camp area. Would have preferred more privacy in-between camp sites. Excellent location to take the kids camping. Nice bike trails. Also enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding. Really clean bathrooms. Overall we had an excellent camping trip!

The services was really good for our first time there. The person was really kind and helped us a lot. Suggested trails for newbies" and explained why. He was even kind enough to suggest a place to eat afterwards."

The Mont-des-cascades trail does not worth to hike specially in witer as it has no good view. but the other trails are good. It's better to put the map on Geai Bleu intersection indicating you are here" cause it's confusing to find the Ruisseau trail connecting La promonade."

We were looking forward to our camping weekend. We picked Mont Tremblant for it's beautiful parks and lakes. The experience did not meet our expectations... Before the weekend (June 11 to 13), we received the usual email from SEPAQ including information about our stay. It also mentioned that we can buy wood for the fire once we are there. We were unlucky honestly. When we arrived, the people at the gate said that we cannot have a fire because the forest was very dry since it didn't rain for a while. So it was dangerous to have a fire, which I completely understand. But, couldn't they have mentioned this before we arrived so we avoid the disappointment?A simple email would have been very appreciated... We were disappointed because all we wanted was to sit by the fire. If we knew before coming we would have cancelled or changed the dates.Another problem we encountered was the cold! We froze once it became dark and we had no fire. Also, we wanted to use charcoal for the BBQ. We were not allowed.. how do we eat? Thank God we had a backup plan (gas BBQ).Finally, not having a fire meant not having smoke. Without smoke, the mosquitoes were unbearable!!! Spraying OFF and citronella wasn't helpful at all. I had to hide in the tent just to get a break from the mosquitoes.Because of all these reasons I didn't stay for the 2nd night. We just left on Saturday evening because I wasn't planning on having another unpleasant night. Now on the positive side (we were in sector Geai Blue):1.The forest is beautiful.2.The beach is great and the rental service was good.3.The washrooms are very clean.4.The website was easy to navigate (quick booking).5.The camping ground was big enough. We parked 2 cars and had 2 tents. We also had our own table.6.It felt safe.7.We went canoeing. The lake is absolutely beautiful. We than found a nice waterfall and went for a quick hike.Good experience overall except for the campfire of course. A group of friends went to another park (not SEPAQ) during the same weekend and they were allowed to have a fire. I guess we were simply unlucky.

Booked Chalet compact Campagnol over the phone with Sepaq whole experience has been great. The Chalet compact Campagnol was perfect right next to the water, clean modern and has everything you need. The national park is gorgeous, staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything you need.

September 2020: Lovely camp ground close to Montreal. The road to get there is great and clear. The area was clean and calm. Remember to pack up all food at night as the wild life is quite present. Do the chute du rat" trail or go up by car it's a lovely and easy activity. Pack good shoes if planning to climb the rocks at the top as they can get slippery. Good cell service.May 2021: Still as lovely. But keep in mind that if you go over the week-end it gets quite noisy in the evening. We arrived on a Thursday evening and it's was SO SO calm and lovely. Friday was the worst as there was stereos playing quite loud and people were in a very chatty mood. We were on a secluded camp ground so it wasn't that bad. We went on a stroll in the other areas and the closer together grounds were so loud. Try to book a secluded ground if planning to go over a weekend and you like the peace and quiet."
