Almond Nail Bar

This was the best pedicure experience I have ever had. My appointment as with Rimpy and started right on time. This young lady gave the best and thorough leg and foot massage I have ever experienced at a nail salon. Highly recommend this clean and welcoming establishment.

I have been to this location a couple of times with my daughter for manicures and pedicures. I have also had waxing, threading and tinting. I highly recommend Lovie, although all the staff at this location are exceptional! The Nail Bar is very clean and the staff is constantly cleaning. The tools used are sterilized and opened in front of you. You don't feel rushed, you feel relaxed. They also offer you a large variety of complimentary beverages Almond Bar should be Winnipeg's #1 Nail Salon!

Got a magic polish pedicure that is advertised as lasting longer than regular polish. 2 days later, startedchipping. Didn’t wear tight shoes, didn’t go swimming or anything that could have caused that. Was told they don’t offer any guarantee on it even tho they said it’s meant to last long and to me it seems similar to shellac. I’ve had pedicures with regular polish done that lasts much longer than this and it’s cheaper. Waste of money in my opinion. Go to a different salon and get regular polish, pay less and have it also last longer.

I want to love this salon and give them 5 stars coz I like how friendly the staff here. Unfortunately, we were not happyWith the quality of the job they did to us. Regular pedicure is just so basic that she didn’t clean the toe nails really well and no- to -little massage. It’s like I was the one who did it for myself or maybe I could’ve done it better in short it wasn’t satisfying… As for the manicure, it was another disappointing experience. Again no cleaning prior to sticking the extension nails. She just literally buffed my nails, applied some chemicals and glue and placed the acrylic nails. The polish didn’t even reach the nail bed. It was not neatly done and made. Good thing she put some cuticle oil, at least it appeared to be freshly done, without it, it looks like I had this manicure for 2 weeks already if that makes sense. Overall we are not satisfied and it’s not worth paying over $160. I’m just hoping that these nails will lasts for 2 weeks and will not chip off.

Went and got a pedicure and nail extensions. The experience was lovely but the quality is absolutely terrible. Within two days a nail broke and while they fixed it for free a day later another broke. It’s been 8 days and I’ve not had 5 nails snap off including one in my sleep! Had my nails done for a trip and ended up looking worse than they did before I had them done! Really disappointed.

Sandy is amazing. She listens and takes her time. Love my nails every time. Sandy did an amazing job again!

My daughter and I booked for magic mani/pedis. It started off as a great experience however my daughters nail polish came off the same day. I called and they did offer to fix but did mention they do not normally offer any compensation or fix any nails that the magic polish as come off. Disappointing as I thought we had found our new go to nail bar. Not worth the money!Edited to add that now 2 days later my nails are all chipped as well. Complete waste of time and money.

Love was so meticulous and checked in with me often throughout doing my nails if I needed anything and if I was happy with how the nails were going. Wonderful job! Such a clean establishment and all the employees seemed so nice and friendly. Would definitely come back!
