Kato Animal Hospital

Dr. Kato has provided excellent care to my three cats since we started seeing her in 2018. She (and the staff) have been especially wonderful to my senior kitty; I really appreciate the love she gets while she's there, and Dr. Kato always takes the time to talk about her conditions, answer questions, give advice, etc. Really appreciate all they've done for us over the years.

Great place with excellent staff. Was hesitant to take my resistant Chihuahuas after bad experiences. They came home happy and relaxed. If I was staying in Toronto they would definitely be coming here. I highly recommend this Clinic!!!!!

Highly recommend! Friendly staff and they greet my dog with so much energy every time. I've been going to this clinic for 14 years now and the staff are always consistent and they genuinely care for my dog!

Dr. Kato and her team are amazing and very empathetic. They have provided excellent care and advice for our senior cat, and for the years they've taken care of her they've been consistently awesome.

Dr. Kato is the most caring veterinarian I’ve ever met. I’ve moved away and only have one dog as a patient there, but she continues to support me for both of my pets, as our second dog has a serious health issue and requires frequent visits for care close to home (we’re now 75km away). I’ve never experienced such a deep level of care from a veterinarian before. Best veterinarian in Toronto, hands down.

Dr. Kato is fabulous. One of my boys is almost 20 years old and has been labelled agressive (or spicy!) since he was a kitten. I have been to a multitude of vet offices who have made me feel HORRIBLE because of his demeanour. I've been going to Dr. Kato now for a few years and never not once have I been made to feel guilty/awful (no seriously, the other vets were so bad they made me cry). I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Sadly now both of my elderly cats are going through the stages of kidney disease, and Dr. Kato has been nothing short of wonderful, navigating me through these tough times. I can't say enough about how great she and her staff are.

Highly recommend.I've been bringing my cats for years and the service is always friendly. They provide alot of information and options.I bring 1 cat weekly for treatments.

My daddies have been taking me here since I was a puppy. The staff is very nice and helpful. Dr. Kato is very knowledgeable, understanding and very gentle with me. She gives good advices on what should and shouldn't do, and not selling products or to any unnecessary treatment. I am very happy with this place. Oh, they have cookies and liver treats to lure my attention before they give me a needle. Awesome! Cedric.

They were the vet I've always used. Recently my cat reached the end of his life. I had him euthanized here, and selected the memorial keepsakes I wanted from what they offer.I wanted a casting of his paw print. I made that VERY, VERY clear more than once that this was very important to me.Today I went to pick up his ashes. But the office never requested the paw print. Despite knowing how important it was to me, as I had openly talked about it. Now, he's been cremated. And what was supposed to be my eternal keepsake of my companion for the last 15 years is lost forever.They made one of the worst times of my life infinity more difficult. My heart is completely broken.
