We spent three days in Cape Breton, and this was our favorite restaurant. The lobater roll, fish cake, and chowder were sooooo delicious and fresh. The sweet potato fries are also amazing. Definitely check them out.

We were driving through the Cabot Trail on a bad weather day and needed to find a place for lunch. Eventually ended up having a huge lobster at Cape North’s best restaurant! Everything about the place was perfect; it’s history, location, food, ambience. Would definitely recommend to everyone who visits the place…

We had the most delicious chowder here. We came specifically for it, and almost ordered differently because the whole menu sounds AMAZING. I would have loved to be here for a week and eaten everything, but alas we stayed true to our chowder mission and both ordered our own and was it ever worth it!

Nice clean restaurant. Food was very good. Glad we stopped here as there were no other places open on the Cabot Trail. Had the Angus burger with sweet potato fries. The burger had something salty in it. But still good.

Great vegan options in Cape Breton! The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, the food was delicious and the staff very friendly and even knew what was and wasn't vegan. A bit pricey but that's expected in this area. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in Cape Breton again!

Amazing service, delicious food. Food came super fast! Everything tasted fresh, you have to get the mussels! Chowder was good and full of seafood, oregano overpowered the flavours a bit but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The fries were fried to perfection so they still maintained some crispness even with all the gravy.

If you're going around the trail, you owe it to yourself to stop here. We ate there Jul. 5 2023. I enjoyed the chowder immensely. Everything the servers passed by with on their way to other tables looked delicious. Washroom was immaculate and staff were friendly and helpful. Buy the wool knitted socks for sale in the little kiosk. They're super comfy!

Great spot for delicious food! Friendly, fast service. I never had poutine and wasn’t interested because of all the gravy and cheese. Well, I was SO wrong! It was so good and I hope to find more quality poutine the rest of my Canada vacation! The fish and chips were just as great, large portions. You will not be disappointed.

Great family restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Friendly service, and a good variety in the menu, with lots of options for seafood lovers, kids and everyone in between. I had the chicken club, and my partner had the chicken fingers. Both were very tasty! A great place to stop to grab a bite while driving the Cabot Trail. Will happily return in the future :)

Nice and clean. Very modern and appeared to be newly renovated restaraunts. Nice service, everyone seemed pleased with what they got. I got the lobster roll. Very tasty however probably the most expensive roll I got on my entire trip due to it not having as much lobster in it. However the bread was a perfect consistency and flavour for it.
