The audio room is the best place to go for all your home audio and theatre needs the staff is incredibly knowledgable on all the products in the store and they will blow your mind with what they have I know for a fact I leave there with a smile every time being and audio conisoure. They are also one of the biggest retailers of Focal in Calgary plus many more amazing hifi audio brands. Make sure to stop by they will be happy to help you out.

I have not spent more time browsing, searching and enjoying reproduced music in the last 20 years of audiophilia nervosa than in the last ten months, ever since Kurt and Marcos came to set up the new 2.2 channels - Revel floorstanding, JL Audio subs and external crossover - in my basement.Much thanks to Kurt for his experience and understanding of room acoustics, and his persistence in positioning the speakers for the best quality of sound the room is capable of.

As I’ve written before I usually wait about a year or so before writing a review for a product or services I purchased. This leaves time to see how any “bugs” or issues were dealt with which in the end translates to customer experience. Now, when writing a review that you believe in and are extremely satisfied with that experience, writing the assessment can be tricky because you want to get the point across to readers looking for insight as something trustworthy where they won’t roll up their eyes with suspicion. So, I’ll be as succinct as I can by starting with the conclusion: Out of a scale of 1 to 5 stars my wife & I would give the Team at the Audio Room 10, however we can only go as high as 5 stars. Now for the buying experience: These folks know their products and they will educate and guide you to your tastes and budget without any pressure. All you have to do is listen and understand what you like and why you like it. They will guide you into something you enjoy and can afford because at the end of the exercise it's all about customer experience: Listening to good quality sound can be therapeutic so having it installed by people who know their stuff is important. Kurt has a passion and a soft spot for people who really enjoy listening to music, any music and with Chris and Greg as part of his Team they did just that. I've often said that before you have kids you listen to music, when you have kids you hear music and once the kids are gone you listen to music again. Now, there are some good stores with good equipment out there but you owe it to yourself to check out the Audio Room because you will very likely find yourself going back there again after you’ve checked out some the other quality stores. You will not regret the long lasting and loyal experience from Kurt and his dedicated Team.

Kurt and company here take audio and customer service very seriously, and are clearly passionate about their craft! I've had many great visits at the store where they've taken the time to talk extensively about audio, demo lots of equipment (even stuff way out of my budget!), and generally nerd out without sales pressure. After sale support has also been stellar. Thanks doing what you do well The Audio Room!

Terrible experience. Called in to get a quote. He Sounded annoyed and I had not even said hello yet. I asked if they do car audio and than he hung up. I waited a few moments to make sure I was not being transferred. Than the call was dropped.

I was traveling to Calgary for work and had a few hours to kill so I stopped by to check out the store. Being a huge fan of audio gear and coming from Toronto where we have some killer shops I didn't expect much. I knew the Audio Room carried some amazing gear (Audio Research, Hegel, Devialet, PMC and Focal to name a few) but I didn't expect to find people as passionate about the reproduction of music as I am. I'll be upfront, most High-End audio stores are intimidating to visit and the staff can be....to put it lightly... quite smug. However, The Audio Room was completely different. These guys really know their stuff and are so excited about showing people how much fun this hobby can be. What I originally thought would be a quick visit turned into a few hours, with Chris showing me two of the best systems I've ever heard in my life. I came back before leaving town a couple days later and ended up spending a few more hours chatting with Kurt about gear. What a fantastic guy! I felt bad because I showed up when they were closing but he still spent the time to chat with me and show me the gear they had. Not only was the customer service the best I've experienced (And I wasn't even there to buy anything) but they know how to assemble and setup a system. If you're serious about high end audio gear please do yourself a favor and stop by. The Devialet-Focal system really needs to be heard.... And the Audio Research-PMC setup was bar none the best sound I have ever experienced this side of live music. A big thank you to both Kurt and Chris.

What a pleasure it is every time I come here. Every single employee is wildly knowledgeable about everything and always more than happy to help. After a couple audition sessions I finally decided on what speakers to get and I couldn't have been happier with the service, interactions & product. Kurt is first of all a passionate music lover and what he cares most about is matching your equipment purchase to your needs, musical tastes, and budget.
