We ordered two different things and paid together, my friend ordered for samosa, she got the order and I was waiting for my order. I was told by the staff girls to wait for 15 minutes and I did so. But after when I went for my order they claimed that I didn’t order it in the first place When I refused Their behaviour changed and they were showing attitude. It is not good for the staff. They should be good towards people and very polite because they are human beings themselves. I had a very bad experience here twice.

Curry express is in Metrotown mall. Their line up and wait time was less than other restaurants in the food court. Quality and taste of their food was good. I tried curry combo.

An Indian desi restaurant located in the food court of Metropolis at Metrotown. I gave it a try, you can get a combo with two curries, rice and naan, you can also take both naan instead of rice and naan or just the rice, I’m not a rice person so I asked them to give me 2 naans instead of rice and naan. The combo costs $16 and additional $1 for a drink, you can choose between hot and cold drink as they offer chai as well. The food I guess is was not fresh/over cooked as it’s sitting on the stove since it’s cooked so probably that changes the taste of it over the time. I tried it in the evening for dinner, maybe the it tastes better in the afternoon when it’s fresh. I chose fish curry and channa masala both tastes below average!

Absolutely delicious food.I came a few days ago and I also came today.Today there was these ladies, they are super kind and polite. But there was a rude costumer bothering them. I hope they are okay. Some costumers don’t know how it feels to work in the retail environment.I don’t expect anyone to be nice to me too. Just be kind to other people

Quick stop lunch haul at the food court, for the price it's hugely over anticipated but not the worst. Plentiful portion and very filling to keep you going when on the move.

I’ve visited this place probably 10 times in the last year, mostly out of convenience. And honestly the quality is hit or miss.Today I ordered a combo plate with curry chicken, mixed veg, rice and naan.The rice is fine but the chicken smells really bad or rotten. To the point that I’m worried I’m going to get ill off the small piece that was in my mouth. I’m actually going to put the meal in a bag and put it on my balcony because it’s all I can smell now. It’s turning my stomach.Aside from that the portions seem to be really small today.They gave me a naan that’s been sitting out for a few hours by the looks of it, which is weird because they are usually good about always giving fresh naan to everyone.And just to be fair, I have had really good curry chicken from here 1 time out of the 10 I’ve been there.But this is the second time I’ve questioned something they’ve served me.I don’t know what happened today but it’s really nasty. I won’t be going back.

I took their smosa chat and chai … smosa chat was pretty good but i will not say that this is one of the best for an obvious reason that its in food court like other fast food resturants and is not a fine dining restuarant. But their chai is amazing… its not too strong by adding too much black tea or not too bland by adding too less tea. Its not too milky and its not too watery (i mean if u make tea by adding 2.5 cup water and 1 cup milk). It was not too sweet personally i added one sugar by myself later. It was served very hot. Chai is a thing with which you can impress an Indian person. And yess I am. Really liked their food. Sorry I am being a bit descriptive but I feel general words and a short review would not help anybody.

Service is not good. I ordered chicken biriyani and I think it was just heated from the refrigerator, because some parts of the rice was cold. Tastes not good overall and not cheap

Finally, an Indian joint that offers a small portion of curry and rice! Other establishments I've been to only offered larger portions.The butter chicken curry was well-flavoured, and the rice complements it. The chicken were boneless and cut in bite-sized pieces, which made my eating experience way less of a hassle. I would order again some time for a quick craving of Indian cuisine.

Recently I visited Curry Express and ordered Chole rice naan roll and chicken biryani. I think they prepare biryani per order basis and it took them atleast 20 to prepare our order.Overall I found their food is average. I think instead of chole wrap I should have ordered chole and naan but I like the taste of their chole.
