Prince of Whales

I did thoroughly enjoy the tour. I have done this in the past, so understood the patience before seeing any whales. I was not let down. Got some great views of multiple whales, seals and an eagle. The weather was great. It was a grand day.

Amazing way to spend an evening! The crew was knowledgeable and fun. We enjoyed our time with Taylor - we learned all about the beauty of whale watching and the surrounding areas. Highly recommend!

Boat was comfortable and fast, crew very professional. Complimentary tea, coffee & hot chocolate. Snacks available to buy. Trip took almost exactly 5 hours as expected. Saw lots of very happy Orca whales and sea lions as well as birds of all kinds and beautiful views of the coast. Pictures taken by naturalists were much better than the ones we had taken on our phones and were in our inbox within an hour of the conclusion of our trip and included in the price. Naturalists were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic with lots of facts and stories to illustrate what we were looking at. Very happy, would thoroughly recommend.

Price of Whales provided a fantastic wildlife tour off the coast of Vancouver. The whole experience was wonderful and full of stunning scenery. We were so lucky to see a pod of seven orcas and the crew did a great job of facilitating the experience. I was super impressed with the team - especially Petra's vast knowledge of marine conservation and Tobin's amazing photos - he even caught the whale breach in action! Big thanks to the team and highly recommend for those considering a tour in the area.

I came all the way from Montreal to see the Orcas because May supposedly is the best month to see them on the west cost. I booked the tour because they had a free photo package and as I had to travel light I did not have my camera on me. The vessel was fast and comfortable, very stable. If you decide to have a seat outside, it gets windy and chilly, be prepared. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, but no orcas. I only saw one humpback whale. Sea lions and harbor seals were there as well. I know we can not control when they are going to show up, but it is an expensive tour. In fact, to see humpbacks, it is better in the East cost because they enter into the Saint Laurent golf (small space). It was a nice experience, but do not get disappointed if you don't see orcas.

We loved our experience for the 4 hr whale watching tour. The whole crew was amazing, energetic and so knowledgeable. We were two adults with two young children (4 and 2) and it was perfect for them. We started out outside but were able to sit inside once the kids got hungry and tired. The captain moves the ship around when we spotted a whale so that you can see it from pretty much everywhere on the ship. It was not overcrowded so we got to have a great view of every sighting. Warm drinks are complimentary and small snacks available for purchase. If you are travelling with young children I recommend extra layers of clothing as well as some food for them!Highly recommend!

We went out with Prince of Whales on the 8th June and had the best time. Big thanks to Roman, Petra and Amanda and all the crew that I can't remember the names of. Everyone was very informative, friendly and made every effort to get yo to see the whales. Lovely to see how enthusiastic they were when sharing the information on the Orcas we saw. Was very lucky to see an Orca feeding very close to our boat.

Totally fabulous experience. We were some what lucky to see a large pod of Orcas hunting and being very active..which was truly magical. The staff were excellent with information and stories.. the complimentary hot drinks were a lovely add to the experience too.

Great customer experience, great day out. Weather was bad so offered us a trip the following day or a full refund. We chose the following day and it was amazing. All crew are very knowledgeable and the whole trip was top notch
