Greenwood Military Aviation Museum
This is an excellent museum of military aviation history. They have great displays inside and out. You're able to go inside the airplanes with the assistance of a staff member. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to assist. Alex (tour guide) is awesome, he is super friendly and loves what he does. He definitely makes the tours fun and interesting. Let's not forget the gift shop! So many cool items for purchase! It's a must see.

My boyfriend grew up in Greenwood as a child. We recently came back, and spent a couple if hours walking around looking at the planes. We have nothing but respect for our Canadian Armed Forces!

Lived here many moons ago and I worked at the Canex grocery store back when I was 14. Alot has changed but it's still there

This place is fantastic! The staff/volunteers were amazing - they shared their knowledge, experience, and passion with us. The displays were well done, and plane reconstructions gave me a whole new appreciation for the vets of WWII.

An excellent museum focused on Canadian Military aviation. It also includes an outdoor static display of significant aircraft in Canada's storied armed forces.

I was at the greenwood NS, military aviation museum, and ti see the air force planes close up was very nice, there is ansk lot of information about the leople who served the service and battles, the cost is free, so uf you are near greenwood NS, I recommend you visit

Greenwood Military Aviation Museum
Alex was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will try to return later in the year when he's still there. Good variety of exhibits, indoor and out. Highlights include the Anson, Hercules, engine room, and special exhibits etc

Thank you volunteer Kevin for showing us some key displays and sharing your passion for the museum. Every Canadian should go. The displays of different airplanes, war medals, uniforms and battles in various wars was impressive. I would go back, as there is so much to see.Don't miss the bugs in the VW bug in the back! The lady at the front desk was super nice! We had a great time! My nephew loved going in the air plane set up inside! What a great experience!
