Popped by here on our way from the pick your own farm nearby. It’s a beautiful spot, with some beautiful trees and a little cute pond. The owner/ cider creator was serving our drinks for us and he was super nice. We got to try some very interesting flavours and unique hand crafted cider. Also grabbed a 6 pack - Cherrylicious was my absolute favourite.Definitely a great spot to check out if you are looking for Ontario cider!

How can you be closed on a Sunday during prime apple picking season when everywhere your signs say open? Also going to say this because no one else will, the cider is absolutely terrible. Way too fizzy and sour like vinegar this year.

Took my family here Saturday morning, and had an amazing time. Not only were the ciders great and staff super friendly, our 2 year old had so much fun feeding and petting (and trying to kiss) the goats and puppy. Definitely have to come back again soon. Highly recommend

We had a great visit to Tall Post this weekend. We did the tasting flight, which we enjoyed sitting out at their picnic tables. The original cider is excellent as are some of the flavoured options - we particularly liked the raspberry and strawberry… so much that we left with 3 six packs. So, why 4 stars not 5? Two reasons: 1) the service was very slow and confusing - they were clearly much busier than expected, and 2) there was $10 admission fee per adult to get into the farm where Tall Post is located. I’m not sure if this is always the case or if it is just during pick your own Apple season. But it was surprising to have to pay admission in order to buy cider. We certainly made the most of it, visiting the goats and picking some apples while we were there. Overall a nice visit and we’d go back with the plan to spend more time and get the most out of the $10 entry fee.

Went over the weekend for the first time and it definitely will not be the last! The girl that was working was so cute and super friendly. Loved my experience there.

This is some good craft cider, quite dry and refreshing. Our experience at their location, though, was sub-par to say the least. The lady who sold us the bottles seemed like she didn’t want us there, unwilling to engage in a conversation (even though she knew we had never tried their cider before), very short and dry (pun intended). Uninspiring experience on site, but a good quality product.

The team at Tall Post are dedicated to their craft and focused on making not just a great product but also a great experience for the whole family. Some great tasting cider options and some great activities for kids including a petting zoo. Authentic and rugged, definitley worth the small detour off Hwy 20!

Used to love coming here and buying some cider, feed, and walking around to pet and feed the goats and other animals. Unfortunately, there's now a $10 fee per person to do this and honestly I don't think there's enough on offer here to justify paying that. Especially since you still have to pay for drinks and animal feed. It's a real shame. This place was great when you had some time to kill and just wanted to enjoy a nice setting outside. But I guess nothing can be enjoyed for free anymore. This is really kind of heartbreaking, but I doubt I'll be coming back. I've been several times in the past year and a bit, but dropping $30 for two people and a single drink each for an hour or two just isn't worth the cost.Edit: to the owner response: Thank you for taking the time to comment. I had hoped this would be taken as constructive rather than completely critical, and it is good to know that this may be a temporary fee. I'm more than happy to spend money here on your products and hope to have the opportunity again without an admission fee.

Seems like a great place! We went before their seats and service was open! We were able to purchase cider to take home! It was great! Will definitely be back. Also they have goats on the lot that you can go see and pet!

Our first visit to Tall Post, and unquestionably not the last. What an amazing first impression. Went for the cider, but spent more time with the goats, cows, chickens and turkeys. Many families with small children were there enjoying the farm animals and the play areas. Fresh eggs are available from the farm's chickens. For me though, the star of the show was the cider. They have blueberry, raspberry and strawberry along with their original apple. I tried and enjoyed the raspberry while my partner had a flight of all of them. The strawberry from the flight was fabulous and several cans came home with us. Great outdoor space to enjoy your beverage and if you're hungry pizza is available. Just a short jaunt outside the city and well worth the trip.
