Szechuan Express

I honestly hate this place. It is such a rip off, not authentic at all, just overpriced slop. The food is terrible and they give you small portions hoping you don't notice. The other Asian restaurants in this food court are much much better.5th Visit: Came here with a colleague. I had the noodles with peanut chicken and ginger beef (terrible - just fried blacken-browned beef). Everything was mediocre.Future: Try the Szechuan Chicken. My colleague says this is good.4th Visit: Came here with a colleague. I had the noodles with fried fish and de-shelled shrimp. They nickel and dime you on everything [I think I got upcharged 5x on this: once for noodles, two items - both meats (double upcharge), then both seafood (another double upcharge)].3rd Visit: Came here with a colleague who loves the chicken/shrimp variety here (over 8 different chicken options). I had the spicy peanut chicken and the General Tao chicken, with fried rice. The fried rice was bad, I'm always going to upgrade to noodles from now on. General Tao chicken was not to my taste, I don't plan on getting this item again, the spicy peanut chicken was good.2nd Visit: Came here with a colleague who really wanted chicken noodle soup. I had the rice noodles + honey chicken + bean sprouts. Tasted good, but nothing special. I dislike how they upcharge for noodles + meats, etc. Honestly, I dislike coming here.1st Visit: Had the 2 item meal (upgraded rice to noodles for $1). Had the red curry chicken - great, and the sesame chicken - just ok.Would consider returning. But I dislike how they charge an additional fee for the noodles. The layers of fees feels too transactional - like there's no passion in this restaurant, like this food was not made with love. Why would you nickel and dime me another dollar for carbs. I would rather go to the competitors who do not upcharge.

The food is not bad but I do find it a bit overpriced compared with other Chinese food places. However the reason why I gave them one star is the service.The ladies working there have an attitude problem. I'm sorry the place only opens for lunch time and maybe 2-3 hours after lunch rush so there's no excuse for them to act so rude. The ones who serve the food are always rushing you and they get angry if you can't do it fast enough.Then the cashiers are always rude and disrespectful. Last time I said that the coke I had was mine and the lady said very loud and angry YES I KNOW!!!".Finally there's one who is always keeping an eye on me when I'm grabbing condiments like to make sure I don't grab too many. I'm already spending more than $15.00 and they still give you attitude?!.Again food is good but even for fast food place I'm surprised they give you that service."

Worst customer service. They are always in a rush and it’s too overwhelming for a customer who is ordering. Need to change the staff it’s horrible

There food quality used to be great. Now it is OK.

Love their food, ask for bean sprouts instead of rice!

Everything was good for the price, served hot and twas yummy!
