Henry Z was amazing to deal with!!! He insured the fastest possible delivery time by finding the closest location and shipping from there rather than the main warehouse in Ontario. Purchased just under $10k in equipment (of which I received no discount or special offer) , one of the items went on sale before I picked up the equipment, when I enquired about receiving that discount, I was actually told that one of the other items had gone up in price and they would be looking to charge me more for that item instead of honouring the sale on the original item. Some customer service.Also, the process was drawn out, I had to reach out a few times just to expedite something as simplistic as the initial quotes. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a business owner and timeliness and good customer service are of a concern to you. Not surprised they’re rated at 3.9 already.

The only goto place for renting your camera equipment. Don't recommend another place. Fast,reliable, great price and veriaty of cameras and other stuff. Great experience, every time working with them. Never had an issue.Great location. With lots of parking places and a big shop for all you need.

Its the B&H of Toronto. Great products. One piece of advice is the employees should get more training on gear. Often I've been in and know more about products. Otherwise it's one of my favorite parts of Toronto. Everyone is nice and their prices are good.

“I don’t care if you don’t come back!” I sure won’t. I was charged a restocking fee after returning a brand new item that was unused, so Vistek made money for having a brand new lens back in stock and not honouring their own return policy (returned items in as-new condition shouldn’t be subject to fees). The lens wasn’t in a sealed package. Their technical department pretended to notice a scratch, but since it was never used, the lie was pretty obvious to me. Another time, I got told some items were in stock, only to find out on a Friday before a shoot that they weren’t available after all, putting me in trouble! So if it says “in stock” online, it might not actually be in stock.And they’re not isolated cases: over the years there were many other situations like this, one interaction out of two with Vistek ends with a problem. They survive thanks to large corporate clients who don’t know any better than to overpay for equipment. They survive because they are the exclusive resellers for certain equipment.Please take my advise and bring all your sales and rental business elsewhere, to stores that actually care and have more technical knowledge, too: Downtown Camera, Henry’s, even B&H in the US.
