Went with friends to this snack bar for the 1st time since moving 3 years ago. Being allergic to fish and especially seafood, I was a little apprehensive. Well, they have a separate fryer for fries- a rarity here- and was able to taste some wonderful homemade French fries. The service was very friendly, funny, quick and engaging. A returning customer for sure!!!

Stopped to grab take out for lunch yesterday. Delicious and well priced. Young girl working was very polite and efficient. Nice light batter in the fish, chips were well cooked and the red pepper aioli and curry sauce very flavourful.

Some of the best fish and chips I've had in quite a while. The fish portion were quite generous, the batter light and crispy. The chips were perfect, nice golden color and not greasy. Both the tartar and red pepper sauces were great. It was a bonus that the whole menu was gluten free as my wife is gluten intolerant. Another great thing is that separate fryers are used for the fish and for the chips, which means that the chips don't end up tasting like fish.

Fantastic GF fish and chips. Crispy batter. Well sized portion. Curry aioli delicious as well. Well worth the visit!

Absolutely the best cooked fish I’ve had since arriving in Nova Scotia; soft, flakey and perfectly cooked, this is a well presentedAnd value added meal. Hand cut, twice cooked fries and a variety of dips and sauces round out a great catch of the day. I was hesitant regarding a gluten free batter, but the coating was light and a pleasant change from the over seasoned, heavy beer batter of the regular English style fish and chip shop, truly a sophisticated twist on an old favourite...and service with a smile, a winning combination for a must have taste

Fish was great, batter is well flavored and fried to a good texture. Chips were a little on the soft side, oil could be hotter. Roughly $23 for a two piece fish and chips. Otherwise, great spot for fish and chips.

Stopped into this fish and chips place as a last minute choice. Was not disappointed! I consider myself very particular with fish and chips and 1 Fish 2 Fish checked all the boxes. Fish was fresh and delicious; Fries were perfect; and the tartar sauce was amazing paired with the fish. I can tell the cook knew what she was doing.The service was great and extremely friendly. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Annapolis Royal!

Hands down the best fish and chips in the Valley. The fish is fresh and they handle it with care. The batter is a perfectly light encasing of the fish, not too much! Fish is always cooked perfectly and served with a beautiful smile. The fries are the best anywhere, done up right. Worth a drive to Annapolis just for some fries!The shop is small but we seem to always score a seat or you can take out to the beautiful park across the street.Excellent quality, friendly and fun service and an amazing little shop. Don't forget to save room for a scoop or two of ice cream from next door.

Absolutely delicious and perfect way to end off a day touring the beautiful treasures in Annapolis Royal. As somebody living with celiac disease, it can be anxiety-inducing finding somewhere to eat my partner and I can enjoy together. The fish tempura was crispy, light and savoury paired with some homemade fries. There is a lovely seating area outside with seaside and rolling ridge views where we watched the sunset enjoying our fish dinner. Lovely owner, great views and a true treasure of Annapolis Royal. Highly recommend!
