C'est Cheese Please!
Good but not great selection of cheeses, priced slightly on the high end. Very poor customer service (for details, see below). We won't return.--We may have caught the owner on a hard day (one of her fridges had broken that day), but she seemed annoyed to have to deal with customers. Four examples:1) The customer in front of us asked if he could use credit. Instead of being kind or apologetic that they don't accept credit, she complained that she can't absorb the charges that come with them. I don't mind cash-only establishments; just be polite about it (you'll notice in other reviews that mention her rudeness about this, she responds to those reviews with the same lack of grace around the matter that the customer in front of me experienced).2) We asked for a small cut of three cheeses to share for lunch. She said she wouldn't cut them smaller than 100 g because it's not worth my trouble to cut them and rewrap them." So I asked for the smallest amount possible. She cut me 140 g.3) I asked for samples of three different cheeses. The first she gave me. The second two

Conveniently located next to the Galt public library, one of the few places that sell buffalo dairy products, which are higher in calcium, arguably better tasting (closest in taste to cows milk), and most importantly a safe alternative for those with cows protein intolerance. Folks, if your children don't do well with cows milk, try buffalo derived dairy products. It may be what you've been hoping for!Overall, friendly service and excellent variety of cheeses and dairy products.

The best cheese-shopping experience par none. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and the variety is palate-pleasing perfection. There's something to go with everything! I should mention that you can also find great fresh baked goods on a Saturday and plenty of gifts and accessories to complete your shopping experience.

A true treasure of Cambridge! If cheese is your thing, you are not going to find a better shop. Every item is carefully curated so you can be confident that you are getting only the best.Wendi is very friendly and knows her stuff. Not only will she recommend the perfect cheeses for your occasion but she can tell you all about where they come from, their processes and their accolades. It's an adventure every time I go - trying recommendations, new arrivals or grabbing some of my newly-familiar favourites.Never disappointed, C'est Cheese Please has become a staple destination for our weekend gathering preparations.

Will I return...no. Unfortunate really. It is nice to have a cheese store in Cambridge but I wasn't impressed with the customer service experience. This was a return visit (after 5 years) and experienced the same poor customer service. Why tell me you have a minimum cut of 100 grams and then cut me 200 grams, when I requested a smaller amount. At that point, you lost a sale for more cheese today. Please do not ask me - do you not have a debit card?" .If you accept credit cards do not make a huge deal on the credit card I choose to carry. Do not give me a lesson in credit card fees. They are a price of doing business. Excellent customer service and return business is a better way to increase profits."

C'est Cheese Please!
It is always a pleasant experience visiting the shop. The owner is courteous and knowledgeable, taking the time to enquire of your taste and offering many options. The cheese selection is wonderfully curated and diverse and there are lots of other books, linens, and items to browse. At busier times you might have to wait a few minutes as everyone is treated with the same attention but your patience is always rewarded. A great asset to the community.

C'est Cheese Please!
There are some really lovely cheeses, but the process is frustrating. There’s no list of all the cheeses available, and no prices listed. A little board with the available varieties would really help.

We found this lovely specialty shop on the internet and stopped in last minute to see if we could pick up a cheese basket for a hosting gift.Wendi was wonderful and very knowledgeable in all things cheese. She quickly put together a great selection of cheeses and we added a couple bottles of wine, the finished product was a thing of beauty. It was the hit of the party, we will definitely be back for years to come.Thank you Wendy
