From the very beginning, this course felt different. When I came across Hoi Education, I emailed to ask some questions about the course and without asking for it, I was sent a discount code for $400 off, and I signed up soon after. The course was amazing. The monthly day-long live training sessions and weekly discussions really made me feel like I could always get the support I needed. Getting feedback from videos and pictures of my work as I progressed was a huge benefit. I appreciated how detailed Hoi explained each topic, how thorough she was, and how I felt like she really wanted us to understand the why" and not just the "how." I will go ahead and start off by saying this has been the best advanced course I have ever taken. I have been an esthetician for 10 years and have taken several continuing education courses and this has surpassed all of my expectations. I started microblading 2017 and have been on a journey to transfer completely over to the machine technique. It is a very competitive industry and people are very reluctant to share their experience, strength and technique and when they do they overbook their class, and you leave more confused than ever. Hoi only trains two people at a time, which just outlines the integrity she has for her work and for her students. Hoi and her fiance Lance have an incredible work ethic and a passion that bleeds through them. The attention to detail is what I appreciated the most this trip, down to the very final night. Hoi has worked so hard to craft her skillset and I am incredibly honored to be able to be a part of her journey and to experience her knowledge. This was the first training course where I didn't want to leave, not because i wasn't ready or feeling confident in my craft, but because Hoi and Lance made my visit so worthwhile that I wanted more time to connect with the humans that they are. If you are beginning or have a couple years of experience, this class is worth every penny. She has done everything she can to give you everything you need to know to succeed and then some. My favorite course, my favorite humans. I will be back! I MISS YOU GUYS!

Invest in the best! Seriously, look no further than Hoi as an artist and educator.A year ago I enrolled in HOIXBROWNUDE III. This marked the start of my journey into the world of Permanent Makeup and boy was I in for treat!I knew I had made the right decision trusting the dynamic duo HoixBrownude to guide me through the fundamentals of nano brows and into my pmu career. Hoi's moto LEARN, LAUGH & TATTOO did not disappoint! The theory element of the 4 day course was extremely in depth and thorough, to the point that we were sent away with homework after each (8 hour) day. The practical component was taught with a hands-on approach, with Hoi and Thuy literally holding our hands throughout (checking for vibration to ensure correct needle depth). Hoi's passion and dedication to her craft is evident, sharing her wealth of knowledge and teaching her skills that she has built up over her impressive career in the beauty and pmu industries. No details were spared!I am so thankful for the ongoing support following the in-person 4 day course. Hoi has been a fantastic mentor, always available for advice, information or just to reassure you that you're Killing it. Further education has been an added bonus, Hoi launched her online zoom course 'Hoi Basix' earlier in the year. This was such a fantastic refresher during the lockdown and the encouragement I needed to keep my hands warm and further my skills while temporarily out of work. I can't wait to join in on the virtual Hoi Basix Nano course!

I was a model for Hoi's training session and I was extremely happy with how the session went. Absolutely nothing to worry about if you are considering being a model for her class. My brows are beautiful and since then I came back for a touch up. I seriously would not consider getting them done anywhere else.The studio is great, very clean and high-touch. Hoi explains everything during the procedure, I felt well taken care of. if you are thinking of getting your brows done with her, make sure to book early as her calendar is pretty full. Great experience!

Hoi is a super master artist when it comes to permanent makeup. This is my second time getting my eyebrows done by Helen. She always does what I exactly want - perfect colour , thickness, length and shape! Thanks to Helen, I love my new brows sooooo much!!! I highly recommend her to everyone who wants to have a new beautiful eyebrows. FYI she is usually fully booked as she is that great but the wait time is totally worth it!

As a young male whos experienced alopecia since 2016, my self esteem was heavily effected. I still have enough hair to style, but have been without eyebrows since 2020, and this lead to me hating almost every photo I was in over the past three years. I found Hoi and her studio through instagram and at the time wasnt even aware of the nanoblading technique. After plenty of research and persistance with the studio, I was finally able to get into the studio with Hoi herself which was a big deal for me as its not very common to see male examples so I was super picky about getting the best of the best and Hoi absolutely did not let me down. I couldnt be happier with how they turned out, she framed my face well and the design process was extremely detailed with so much thought put into it as well as plenty of oppurtunity for my input. I gave her nearly complete freedom on shape, size, detail, only picked the colour palette out myself and just let do what she felt worked for me the best. The procedure is relatively painless, just has a warm feeling most of the time and a bit of a tickle with the occasional flinchy spot, but after the first one or two passes she applies a thin layer of numbing to help with that sensitivity. Its now been nearly two weeks since my final touch up appointment, and I can leave this review and say in confidence that so much of my self love has returned and ive gotten very use to them. Even a few strangers have complimented them asking if I get my brows professionally done which Is a huge compliment for me after three years of having nothing there. I want to thank Hoi and her team for making this such a straight forward and comfortable process, as well as for giving me a huge part of myself back. If I can help anyone out with this review, or in my life, I will absolutely refer them to you.

I have taken 3 courses + flying to Calgary to meet my nano mom, Hoi for nano fundamentals. Hands down - THE BEST investment I have made for my career. Hoi knew from the beginning how hungry I was to pour everything into learning this new technique and she felt my hesitation so she CALLED ME to make sure all my questions and concerns were taken care of. I knew I just had to make this leap of faith. The program Hoi and Lance created is FULL of information, well laid out and easy to understand. The community Hoi has created for her students is wonderful. Everyone is so supportive and wonderful. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Hoi and her team. Flying to Calgary, I was nervous but when I was fan girling in front of her, she greeted me with the biggest smile and a big hug! I feel incredibly blessed to have Hoi as my Nano mom and the Nano gang as my brow family. I know she wont leave me behind and ensure I get to my career goals! I can’t wait to continue to go back to see her in Calgary to learn from Hoi and her amazing team and help her in anyway I can to also watch her build her business! Thank you so much!
