Had a repair in December 2020 for a charge of $4,385.41 included parts and labour on the 4 wheel drive system. No complaints as it is an older truck.I found the 4 wheel system not working in November of 2021 and made an appointment. I asked that they investigate and look at their warranty as it fell within their 1 year parts and warranty period. Advisor Derek was defensive when I requested warranty but the problem needed attention so what the heck. I was called the next day and told they needed to order a part and would call me when it arrived.January 11th 2022, I was called and asked to return my truck. I did so and was called again on the 12th and told they got the wrong part and to pickup my truck.Today is April 24, 2022, and I haven't heard back from Okotoks Ford. I've gotten through winter without my 4 wheel system working properly and won't need it again until next winter.Always had good service with Julie Niles, or is it because it was warranty considerations?Julie contacted me following this post and told me she was chasing up the late arriving part. She kept me informed of progress. Julie informed me that the part had arrived Thursday. The truck was repaired on Thursday and warranty full warranty was granted. Though the new part is not warranted due 'no charge' I am sure that Okotoks Ford/Lincoln will honour workmanship warranty should there be a need.5 star rating, can't say enough great things about Julie Niles!
