good service but if you live a distance from Kamloops be prepared for a hefty bill!!! Replacement of two batteries cost me $950!! Were here for about 45 minutes! To install another part which would take about 10 min would have cost me another $320!!! Since they were coming this way anyway for another job both times seems just a bit exorbitant doesn't it ?????

Yesterday was the first time I have been to this store. It was very easy to find and get to, has lots of parking and easy level entryway with no sidewalks. We were greeted right away by friendly staff. The store is set up with sections displaying equipment for different rooms in a house. I really liked the bathroom area. It had a tub in it so I was able to test out different options of the equipment I was needing and gave me the confidence to make the right choice for me! The sales lady noticed I was having trouble walking with my 2 standard canes and she suggested I try a set that have a support that goes around my upper arm. I was amazed and delighted at how much strain was taken off my shoulders and lower back. THANK YOU!FROM NOW ON MOUNTAIN MEDICAL SUPPLIES IS MY “GO TO” PLACE❣️

My dad finally decided it was time to get a walker. The people at Mountain Medical made it an easy procedure. He tried a number of different models and they explained all the features available. He picked the one he liked best, and they processed the sale quickly and efficiently, and also installed one of the options he had chosen. Very kind, very helpful, and a pleasure to deal with.

My experience with Mountain Medical has been horrible. I signed a contract in October 2021 that said I would get an assessment of the items I left with them which would be the basis for establishing value, and my portion of the sale. It is August 2022 and I have yet to receive these assessments. Several unanswered emails, and several visits later, I still have not received a response. One of the items apparently sold, and I received a cheque, but I have no idea what the selling price was and if, indeed I received my appropriate share. I am still waiting for information on the second item.The owner of the shop has poor communication skills, does not provide customer service, and does not return phone calls or emails.Sellers beware! Unfortunately, this is the only place in Kamloops that does consignments. Think twice before leaving your equipment behind.I will be picking up the second piece and will be selling it privately. Need a scooter with low kms? Check out Facebook marketplace in the next couple of weeks :)

These fellows came to my rescue today as our Wheelchair lift suddenly stopped. Needless to say , we needed help. They got it up and running very quickly. The team were very polite and confident in their abilities. I HIGHLY recommend the People of Mountain Medical. They are very courteous and Highly Knowledgeable. Not to mention Rapid Repair Service Team. Job WELL DONE. Thank you so much.

Was looking for a recliner chair with lift. The ladies at Mountain Medical gave me excellent information on the chairs they have. I wanted a chair with massage and heat included, but I needed it within a week. The chair I got, while it doesn't have massage and heat (would have exceeded the time period I needed it in), is rated for my size and has a seven year warranty. Plus there is an separate massage pad available, and the chair is a sleep chair. The ladies showed me the options and while I didn't get all the bells and whistles I wanted, the chair I got fills the bill for me. The ladies at Mountain Medical are very knowledgeable and patient and answered all my questions. I am very happy to recommend them for any mobility needs.

Lied to my mother about a warranty claim - charging her for delivery of a replacement product they said would be delivered for free. Markup on another product was 200% as they left the invoice from the supplier in the packaging. You deserve your terrible reputation.

MOUNTAIN MEDICAL – TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEAttn: Karen Daly,Karen, in November 2021 my then 95-year-old father and I rented a lift chair for a 2-month period at a cost of $600 (including delivery). For medical reasons the chair was returned early. No partial refund was offered however I understood because a contract is a contract.Also in November 2021 my father purchased a power wheelchair at a cost of $6,000. You provided a quick tutorial on it’s use and features. Upon 1st use of the power wheelchair, my father inadvertently locked the joystick mechanism by hitting a certain combination of buttons. Unbeknownst to us, to unlock the mechanism another combination of buttons must be entered. None of this was explained, nor was any instruction manual provided despite the invoice / receipt stating ‘MANUAL IS ATTACHED TO CLIENT INVOICE’ (yes, it is written in capital letters). After following up multiple times, you finally advised a manual could not be provided because the manufacturer does not provide it. This is like purchasing a brand new car without a manual! You had an unsympathetic attitude and offered no solution. You may recall we had a bit of a heated conversation because you were rude and tried to talk over me. As an alternative, I suggested you simply provide written instructions via email as to how to lock/unlock the power. But this never arrived either. All I was asking for at that time was an email with a few bullet points - how difficult is that? It never arrived. I continued to follow up for the FULL manual because a contract is a contract and my contract clearly stated ‘MANUAL IS ATTACHED TO CLIENT INVOICE’. After many more follow-up phone calls and emails, a PDF of the manual finally arrived in August 2022 – a full 9 months after purchasing the wheelchair! By this time my father had passed away. You told me the manufacturer does not provide a manual but clearly they do because one was eventually produced. You just couldn't be bothered to provide it.Now my father’s scooter is under a consignment contract and I’m experiencing horrible customer service. My phone calls and emails are being ignored and the sad part is that my story seems no different than many others that have posted here. The scooter has been on consignment since November 2021 so we are now over a year. My issue is not with the length of time to sell, my issue is with being completely ignored. Karen, you are well aware of the number of follow-up phone calls and emails I’ve made to you. Not once has anyone in your store EVER picked up the phone or returned even ONE of my voice messages. You finally sent an email on August 16, 2022 to let me know the Scooter is sold and that funds would be e-transferred on September 30, 2022. No e-transfer has ever arrived and it’s now December, nearly 3 months since the funds were promised. Again, I’ve continued to follow-up by phone and email and experienced the same thing. You NEVER pick up the phone or return a phone call or an email, an activity that might take about 1-2 minutes. I do see you taking time to respond to people like me, people that write negative reviews. You always have some sort of excuse…’read your contract, it’s not our store, we are too busy, I work 6 days a week, we are the only place in the area that sells on consignment and we are doing you a favour’. You are not doing us a favour, you are not a charity, you are running a business and you are selling items on consignment because its profitable. And if it’s not then you should stop because you do a very poor job of it. You are not transparent or truthful regarding when items are sold, you do not respond to your consignment customers, and you hold onto funds well beyond the time promised in the contract. I do not know if I will ever receive the $798 promised for the sale of the scooter but if I do, I will be donating it to The Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Memorial Hospice Home in Kamloops, in memory of my late father, Daniel Joseph Fisher.
