Vancouver Career College - Burnaby

Finished my course in May. Worst school ever. You should stay away!WORST and very UNORGANIZED NEGLECTED management and staff members who do NOT know what they are doing. Tuition is also more expensive than others, BUT THE NEGLECTED PEOPLE THERE THAT NEVER CARE ABOUT STUDENTS AND NEVER RESPECT YOUR TIME.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.IF YOU LOVE WASTING TIME AND LOVE TO TEST YOURSELF HOW PATIENT YOU ARE WITH THEM, THEN I RECOMMEND.

I love how the instructors are very experienced in their field and how they are always connecting what we are learning to the real world. Ms. Lorraine Molina is one of the instructors that I truly admire! The way she delivers the topics and her strategies in teaching her students is very effective. Who knew that learning about phonemes can be fun and interesting.

Mark Sorensen has been teaching myself and others Construction Electrical Foundations for the past 8 months. Mark is an amazing teacher, and I feel like he really prepared myself and the others in the class for a future in the trades. If you want to get into electrical work, I can't recommend Mark enough. The classes were engaging, and when it came to practical work, Mark was patient and obviously very knowledgeable. I was unsure what to expect coming back to school after a 8 year hiatus, but thanks to Mark I feel confident in going to work in the field, and had a great time being taught by him. Professional, patient, and knowledgeable are 3 words to describe this teacher.

Stay far and clear from this school. Cost way to much. Over priced. So I payed $25,000 for me ece course. That’s doesn’t include materials you need for the course. The school doesn’t help you find your practicum placement. You have to look for it. Found same course online for $7,000. I graduated 3 years ago and finally walked across the stage 3 years later. All the way out in Langley. Cheap venue. Didn’t get my grad photo for over a month. Just avoid this place. I know half my classmate didn’t use the certificate. They went to other schools to get a better one.

As an International student, I’m grateful that I pursued my Healthcare Assistant (HCA) program at Vancouver Career College - Burnaby Campus. They have competent instructors, fully equipped laboratories with top-notch equipment, and helpful staff. Also, the career services will assist you right after you finish your program to help you boost your profile and get you ready for the industry.It's definitely a complete learning package!

My major is Veterinary health care assistant and the sub instructor Marylin have no experience about vet and she also talks disrespectful and waste the time of class by repeating the policy.

I met Asra in the Coquitlam Campus. She helped me enroll in Acupuncture program. She was above and beyond for helping me. She cares a lot and helps with all her capacity. She is top of my mind if I have any questions.

I have to say that I met a very good teacher in this college. Location is Surrey Campus.Her name is Mary K. She is a very patient, professional and interesting teacher. She taught me a lot of practical knowledge that is not covered in textbooks. My classmates and I like her very much. If you come to this school to study ECE and Infant Toddler courses, please remember to take Mary K's course. It will be an amazing learning experience

Very good HCA instructors, I've learned a lot. Highly motivational instructors especially JJ and Dona.The campus director is also very approachable and very helpful.

I did my ECE with really good experience and enjoyed. It’s dependent on your instructor how he or she teaching you. I feel very lucky that i got marry khammountry as a instructor. We asked questions again and again she never said, dont ask again also we really enjoyed with her.
