Funky's Fishing Adventures
Rick is by far the best guide i’ve ever been fishing with. He works to get them on, In 2 trips we got 2 5ft, 2 7ft, and 3 8ft Sturgeon. I had my 2 kids, 8 yr and 11 yr old and it was the coolest experience for all of us. Highly recommend a trip with Rick!

What a wonderful time we had with Rick! We caught twice the amount of fish that ever caught up Mission way with a different charter. Rick was comical and very knowledgeable as to where the good spots were. He is an amazing guide and we would highly recommend Funky Fishing Adventures to anyone interested having a fantastic day on the Fraser River. Our adventure with Rick was great he knew just where to go and what bait to use,we had are first fish to the boat in 20 minutes. My family and I had a great day, Rick's energy and the joy he got from every bite we got made the experience all that more memorable

Funky's Fishing Adventures
We went out with Rick yesterday and enjoyed every last second! Within 10 minutes we had sturgeon on, and within 2 hours we had 4 to the boat! The rest of the day went just as well! By far, this was the best fishing charter we have ever had. Rick is knowledgeable, professional yet hilarious and great to be around.I cannot speak for the other charters, but I can speak for Funky's. If you are looking to hook into some Sturgeon on a clean and beautiful boat with a great captain, book Rick. You won't regret it! I'm no longer a Sturgeon virgin, Woooooooooooo!

Took our team out with Rick and had an epic day. Mostly first timers for sturgeon fishing and by the end of the day seasoned vets :). Rick is awesome, caught over 40 fish between the 2 boats!

The unknown can often lead to a nice surprise and our first sturgeon fishing adventure did just that ! We were greeted by a great down to earth guide with a genuine sense of humor and a consumed passion to find us fish hopefully one that pulls like a train ! Had the pleasure of fishing for sturgeon with Rick and my son-in-law in mid-October. He did not disappoint. I lost count of the number of sturgeon we caught. My arms were burning to the point that I actually declined to reel in the last couple. Rick is tireless, constantly working, changing bait, trying different things. Had a great outing, huge success fishing, and would highly recommend Rick for anyone looking to catch a lot of sturgeon. You will not be disappointed.

Hands down the most epic day of fishing you will ever experience! Rick knew the best spots to find all the monsters and we pulled in a total of 27 sturgeon and several of them were even bigger than me! Rick and his team are true sturgeon whisperers and will teach you alot about the fraser river, the art of catching sturgeon, and have countless of awesome stories to share along the way.The boat was equipped with top notch fishing gear, was extremely clean and comfortable, and had extra seats on the bow to soak in the beautiful views. The fight from these prehistoric fish is no joke and you will definitely need to bring an extra person or 2 on your trip to rotate and help reel in these powerful fish.Rick even made sure that we spotted seals on the river to add the cherry on top of an unforgettable fishing trip. Looking forward to another epic fishing adventure with Funky's in the future!
