I am more than happy. Thanks to Sarah I have finally found my hair style. She is amazingly good at bringing out your style. The staff is Wonderful and accommodating to the very best of their abilities. I always struggled with hair dressers over looking what I want or dismissing it because they were not masculine enough" or "it will look weird on a men's head". And the price

Rebeckah saved my hair!!I went to a different salon and my hair was horribly bleach damaged and I had lost a few good handfuls of hair. It felt like straw and was super frizzy. I came in to The Head Room and everyone here was extremely nice and wanted to do everything they could to save my hair. In 2 days and 2 appointments they were able to get my hair to the colour I wanted, save a lot of my length, and made it feel like hair again!! I couldn’t recommend them enough or thank them enough!! GO HERE THEY ARE AMAZING!!

Kate is the absolute best and makes my hair look phenomenal every time. I cannot recommend the Head room enough. Its a fun, unique place and the house itself is simply gorgeous.

I was contemplating whether to write a review or not, but when I heard of my girlfriend's experience, I thought I'd just drop a few lines.I had my haircut and balayage done in mid-March. I was happy to have gotten an appointment so quick with someone I was told was very knowledgeable about color. My hair was dyed black, with some peek-a-boo, so it took a while to have the color process completed. I was not overly thrilled about the balayage job.Moving on to the haircut. I was mortified when my hair was being cut. I usually have my cuts done on wet hair, but she dried my hair first, then proceeded to cutting. I keep asking if she wanted to see a picture, and she reassured me that she got it. The hair looked great after styling, but once I went home and washed, I saw how badly cut my hair was and wanted to cry!! One side was longer than the other. Now I have to wait for my hair to grow before going somewhere else to have it done again.I called so that they could fix my hair. I got a call back after 2 days to let me know the hairdresser, Rebecca, was available. But I thought, why go back to the same place that messed up my hair in the first place. And my girlfriend also confirmed that she was the same hairdresser who gave her a bad cut.I will probably not go to that location again and try a different place.

Terrible experience! Had been going there for 7 months for colour and no issues, then when I went to get my hair extensions, they did not buy enough hair (told me that 3 packs would be enough and charged me 2.500 dollars for it), and it obviously was not! They consistently refused to tell me the grammage of each pack so I did not know how much hair I was buying and could not do the math on my own. When I asked them to get more hair, they ordered two more packs, knowing well that it still would not be enough for a full head of hair. On the day of my appointment, the extra two packs didn't arrive and I had to leave the salon with only half of the hair on my head, absolutely disgraceful! I could have got the hair cheaper somewhere else, but instead I chose to trust them and they tried to rip me off twice the amount I was initially told! I find it hard to believe that Robert, someone with 20 years of experience did not know how much hair I'd need. It seems like they just wanted to get more money out of me! Besides that, they were extremely rude about the whole thing and made it sound like everything was my fault even though it was their mistake. The receptionist, Laura, offered me no discounts, was rather antagonistic from the moment I mentioned my dissatisfaction, and even straight up sarcastic and disrespectful on the phone!

This is the absolute worst place I have ever been to get my coloured. The hairdresser who “specialized” in blondes and Colour was terrible in both personable and professional conduct. I was told after I voiced It wasn’t even close to what we discussed but was told to “ go home and after a couple days and still don’t like it then you can contact me” I did and was told she was going out of the province for a week and would get me back in to “fix” it when she got back…. 3 weeks ago and still nothing.

Sarah is passionate, is extremely skilled , and so happy to find someone who could follow instructions properly, who listens to what you want, and give me a custom design . No more cookie cutter haircut ( that I got in Ontario). She fixed it to something that was more me . Now, my only problem is , I have to travel quite the distance to see her again. I will be back.

I GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WASNT MY STYLIST SHE WAS GREAT ITS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR APPOINTMENTS THAT IS ANOTHER STORY... DISGRACEFUL!I received a text to confirm an appointment I hadn't booked but I assumed it was a courtesy due to the suspended services during covid... So I replied with a YES confirmation for Sat 20 at 3pm. I got a taxi to the head room at a fare of $17.75 and once I went to the front desk was told their must have been some mix up that it wasn't supposed to be scheduled at all it was in their system for a blow dry (I get cut color and foils) and beyond that I was an hour late their mistake was actually for 2pm so I'm late anyways.Well as you can clearly see in the pics below my mistake appointment confirmation" stated SAT JUNE 20 AT 3:00PM !!!!And I was asked if I'd like to reschedule I explained ok that I would have to get a cab back home thinking they'll offer something to offset THEIR MISTAKE.... an discount on my next service maybe product at discount or something BUT NOPE NOTHING JUST AN "OOPS" AND "IF WAS REAL BOOKING IT WAS @ 2 AND IM AM LATE CAUSE ITS NOW 3!!!" I didn't get upset but I definitely won't be returning the stylist I won't mention because I don't believe it's her fault their systems screwed up nor was she present downstairs when I arrived to know of this situation.In addition my last appointment around Christmas time was the...SIMILAR BAD EXPERIENCE! MY FIRST AND SADLY TODAY MADE THE SECOND BUT IT WILL BE MY LAST...it's was snowing and a few things had closed that morning so I checked the website it stated they were opened for extra measure I called and the voicemail stated they were opened. So I AGAIN THR FIRST TIME PAID CAB FARE $18 and proceeded to the door which was locked and closed sign from night before in the window!!! NO SIMPLE COURTESY TEXT SAYING THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE OPENING NOR ANY CHANGE MADE TO VOICEMAIL OR ON THEIR WEBSITE... EVERYTHING STATING OPEN FOR BUSINESS EVERYTHING BESIDES THEIR DOORS THAT IS!!!I HAVE NOW FOR 4 CABS....TOTALLING $72 (4×$18) FOR SERVICES I DIDN'T RECEIVE
