The dine in experience could be better if they tried. I think this restaurant has so much potential if they really tried especially in the dining part. It’s not worth it to try the food if the ambience and presence of Kerala is not alive in the restaurant. But overall the food is okay it’s not great but it’s still authentic and could use work in the quality. I have often felt that the quality of food from here overtime has been inconsistent which could be improved if they tried. Would recommend the appam and unniappam they serve probably the best ones when compared to Scarborough’s Mr.John. Overall it’s an okay place don’t expect too much

Excellent Kerala / Malayalee cuisine in Durham/Oshawa. We had some awesome Porotta and Beef fry. And authentic Malabar Chicken biriyani and beef curry. Mutton and sea food dishes were not available.

I have been ordering food here for over 6months and we love it here!! I love the meals that comes with 2 veg curry and 2non veg curry. Fish curry is the best.For dinners we love Kizhi parotta they are a 30mins wait time, but it’s worth the wait..Parrota just taste like how we eat in Chennai and kerala super soft and thread like texture must try!

First of all their food tastes good. (A little too spicy for me though)The first time when I ordered take out, they give me egg curry (which I'm allergic to) instead beef curry. I called the restaurant and let them know, the manager was being so nice and polite and he did apologize and interac me the amount for that item.I was thinking about going there for a second time, and decided to order food from there.I called ahead and placed my order for pickup at 8:00pm,they assured that my order will be ready for pickup at 8:00. But when I reached there, they were confused and didn’t have my order ready. He asked me what I have ordered and started packing my food (It was almost like going there placing the order and wait. Which is exactly why I ordered ahead) The worst thing is everything was almost empty, somehow they managed to pack it( again, this is why I ordered ahead)They all seem nice, but if you could care about your customer a little it would be great.Again the food tastes good, but really spicy.

I had come to this place to try out some proper Kerala food. I had ordered the Porotta with Pork Roast, Beef Curry, kappa, fish curry and egg roast.The food was absolutely tasty and the staffs were very supportive. There are numerous choices available for a foodieBring your family and friends, there is a good amount of seating to relax and enjoy your meal.

First of all- no menu or paper menu to see- very oddSecondly, The 2 veg+ 1 meat combo is a joke.It's $13 for curried potatoes, plain rice ( not even basmati ) and curried green lentils and ONE 4 OUNCE CUP OF MEAT - WHICH CONTAINED 1 PIECE OF CHICKEN ... yes 1 single piece of chicken. I am not exaggerating.I was floored. Biggest rip off!! Tasty food though, which is too bad.I don't know how they're in business!?

Had a wonderful experience dining in at Vazhiyoram. They had all sorts of savoury snacks we tried the pazhampori, bonda and a refreshing watermelon juice. We also got the kappa biriyani, beef fry, fish fry, nidhi porotta and kizhi porotta which were all delicious. Porotta was soft on the inside and crispy on the edges. I recommend that everyone try out this Malayali restaurant they have something for everyone with affordable prices! Special thanks to Jibin and Nichols for taking care of our needs and providing amazing service. They were extremely accommodating- brought out plain rice and boiled egg for our 3 1/2 year old son who is very picky. This will definitely be a place our family will frequent.

Bought special chicken biryani and it was worst biryani for 17.99 dollars. Aroma of pineapple essence , no salt, overcooked or frozen rice and chicken had smell . Parotta was also not fresh overall waste of money . Tried 2-3 times and no change constantly i got bad food. Charging high and selling low quality food thanks
