Horrible service. The vet is amazing but I’m not surprised that it’s hard to get a vet or keep one with this new office staff. I’ve always had my daughter or boyfriend bring in my cats as I work and am unable to. This time I had my friend bring in a cat to be spayed. That wasn’t the problem. Until there was a health issue and all of a sudden I couldn’t get care for the cat. (There was blood in her bladder. The vet is pretty sure that it’s be a she was in heat but gave antibiotics just in case.). Although I gave permission to discuss any issues with my friend and she was paying the bill apparently there was still an issue. The cat didn’t have fleas or looked neglected it was a small issue that took everyone by surprise. Now I’m getting nasty emails cause apparently because I’m helping one cat get out of a bad situation and go to a loving home I am a rescue?!? And I have different rules??? The bill is paid the animal is well taken care of. It’s a friend not a complete stranger so I don’t see what the problem is. I’ll take my money and my cats and go else where. Unfortunately the management at the clinic doesn’t care the level of service being provided to the people and this will fall on deaf ears.

Great place. Got both my corgis fixed and they did an amazing job and very informative. Answered all my questions before and after. Sent them home with two days of pain meds everything couldn't have been better .. Alot cheaper than my vet.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. I have had two males neutered over the past two years and they both came out of the surgery almost like nothing happened. The staff and vet are fantastic and deserve praise. Thank you.

If you're looking to adopt, don't go here.Stepping through the main entrance, all you can smell is urine. The air is thick, and barely breathable. The front desk took forever to get the paperwork settled for the adoption. The general vibe of the whole place seemed so judgemental and negitive. We got to meet our dog, and interact with her a little bit. They took us back inside to pay, and gave us the paperwork for a completely different dog. We caught the mistake immediately and asked for the correct paperwork. Once we finally got to bring the dog home, she was terrified. She wasn't house trained even after being in a shelter for over a year. Poor girl was probably contained in a small room with her waste. The only thing she knew was sit. Not even by the word, but raising your fist in the air.She was also in pretty bad shape. She was really skinny to were you could see each breath she took, her paws and elbows were completely raw. She also had a collar mark on her neck that was missing fur, and red.Thankfully with a lot of love and care from our family, she's thriving, and able to show her true colors!

This location is amazing I had made a request as I lost paper work for my cat and didn't have her birthday info anymore I sent them a message out the blue 13 year later. These awesome people here found her in the system and were able to provide me Scarlets birthday. Thank you so much to your staff. So appreciative of your staff.

Just had my two barn cats spayed through their spay program. The staff were amazing. They run everything so well. My advice to others is always be patient. Things take time. I appreciate their reduced pricing. Thanks for everything!

Where do I begin?! This is one of the most caring and loving humane societies you’ll ever come across. Hands down they all love and care for the animals to the best of their abilities and all the staff goes above and beyond to make sure all animals are adopted and go to the best furever homes possible. In 2019 I wanted to do something to help rescue organizations to help them get more funding and after rigorous search of numerous rescues available I came across LCHS and after seeing how executive director Kevin Strooband drove all over Ontario to have 16 cats adopted and find them those furever home. After seeing how he went above and beyond to make sure these animals will have a good life I decided to do a fundraising fashion show to help and raise some funds. After VENAO Swimwear fundraising fashion show post which we raised thousands of dollars for Lincoln County Humaine Society, I came across my soulmate Amari. At the time of delivery of the cheque my partner and I decided to see all the animals there and we saw the smallest of the dogs that was so brand new her papers were not yet processed. My parter and I fell in love with her and immediately asked to adopt her, filled out papers and got her in a matter of 2 weeks. (She had to be processed and operated on and then make sure she was recovered) So in 2019 LCHS made my dream come true and I adopted my baby Amari (see pictures below) my soulmate and the best fur baby anyone could ever ask for. Even all the staff were absolutely in love with this “love bug” as they called her.Within the years of having Amari bless our lives we visited LCHS numerous times for vet visits and check ups. Also because my rescue indoor cat decided to one day go for a walk and got lost and sure enough within one day I called LCHS and they had her there after some home owner near by found her close to their home and called LCHS to come and get her. So they saved my babies twice now.Not to mention all the staff who are absolutely amazing how they care for all the animals. Courtney is the one that had helped me get Amari’s papers processed and I am grateful to her for eternity. So if you can adopt any animal please do so to help Lincoln County Humane Society find all their fur babies their furever home. If you can’t adopt please make sure you donate directly to them as they absolutely need it and will use it to help as many animals as possible.

A pet owners worst day is putting your animal down. You expect compassion and understanding and kindness. There was none of that at St Catharines humane society. Our cat was dying and had to be put down after trying everything at Vets first. This is our last option. But when we went to Humane society I asked to see my cat after she passed. The girl at counter told me come back in 30 min. I came back asked see my cat. One of office girls went to get our beautiful cat to say goodbye. I waited about 10 min. She came back walked right by me and whispered in other girls ear. I asked what is going on. She said we don’t allow you to see your cat. I replied I asked you when I came in and again when I arrived. She lied and said I Never said that. This time I said I want see my cat. This was sooo upsetting!! It’s bad enough to lose your previous loved cat without staff being uncaring She said your cat passed away. Again I said I want see my cat. She argued again. Finally they relented and another young girl brought our cat out and I was finally able to pet him and say Goodbye with tears flowing down my cheeks The young girl said she was sorry. She was the only person in there to show some compassion One last thing. It smells very bad in there. The few times I have been there all you can smell is urine. I will never go there again!!!
