My partner and I worked with Heather for our wedding and engagement shoot and we had an amazing experience! She was so friendly & easy to work with, and the photos are absolutely stunning. She incorporated what we wanted along with her own creativity and we couldn't be happier with the end result. We keep getting compliments on our photos and I can't stop looking at them! Highly recommend!

Nothing but AMAZING things to say about Heather and her photography! Not only is she extremely personable and fun to work with, she also gives her 110% on every job she does and delivers her best work. She will give you nothing less. Heather shot our wedding back in 2019 and ever since, she is the only photographer I recommend! Our bridal party consisted of 20 (!!!) people and she was a rock star at photographing us and also keeping track of timing and where we needed to be.She makes you feel like you're her only client and gives her full, undivided attention during your session or big day. She is so creative, artistic, professional and fun. We have worked with her a few times since our wedding and are always blown away with what she produces. Can't wait to see you again, Heather!

Heather at Filled with Light was absolutely amazing to work with. I could not be happier that we booked her as our wedding photographer. From the first zoom call (yes, we had 2 prior to the big day which I loved!), Heather was extremely professional, personable and truly took the time to listen/hear to our vision. I was so impressed on how she was able to find the most perfect locations to match the style of photos we wanted to capture. We had so much fun with Heather all through the day and evening! Where do I even begin with Heather... She is one of the most talented photographers I've come across, so for her to do our wedding was truly amazing. We are so happy with how everything turned out.From the beginning she was extremely communicative and accommodating. Heather photographed our wedding and we couldn't have chosen a better person!She has an amazing ability to connect with people and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. My partner and I had never been professionally photographed before and I wasn't sure it would feel natural, but with Heather it was so easy!She was flexible with our last minute timeline changes and was available to answer all of our questions, as well as provide advice.The photos are beyond our expectations. Choosing a photographer for your wedding is arguably one of the most important decisions of wedding planning -- after all, these are memories that you would love to last a lifetime. We cannot be happier with our choice to work with Heather for both our engagement shoot and for our wedding. Heather is professional, kind, and an overall joy to work with. She is personable and is an absolute light to be around. She made us feel comfortable and special on our special day and this was reflected in the photos she delivered. We loved the variety of shots and that she was able to take so many candid shots of us and our guests. Heather was able to capture moments throughout the night -- I can't stop looking at our photos!! We loved that she sent us samples of our wedding photos so that we can share them with our loved ones but also gave us a polaroid photo of us that we can take that night. By the end of the night and throughout this process, it felt like Heather was part of our family who was there to celebrate with us.We loved working with Heather and if we could do it all over again, we would choose Heather again without a doubt.

Heather photographed our engagement and wedding, I have to say she was just incredible! She was professional and comfortable to work with, responsive to our requests and preferences, and timely in the delivery of the edited pictures. We particularly loved how she was able to get us a sample of wedding pictures several days after the wedding so that we were able to share them.For both occasions the pictures turned out so beautifully with lots of candid shots where she was able to capture the joy of the occasion. We loved the variety of shots, the artistic use of light and how comprehensively she was able to capture every moment at our wedding.She is an excellent photographer and I would recommend her wholeheartedly!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Heather; we worked with her for our engagement shoot and our wedding in October 2021. Heather ensures that you are comfortable in front of the camera (which is saying a lot when you're a super, duper awkward person!). She even comes prepared with a mini speaker to play all the jams at your outdoors-at-7-in-the-morning-to-get-that-magical-glow-lighting photo sesh - that's dedication!Heather is exceptionally kind, energetic, and just fun to be around, making the whole process so easy. She has an eye for creative details and creates beautiful photos that are classic but also unique - she captures your story" in a very authentic way. Heather is amazing! My husband and I had hired her for our wedding, and when she was unable to make it for the day due to unforseen circumstances she made sure to find a replacement for us. While she may not have photographer the wedding, she did all the editing and the photos we received from Heather for our wedding were beautiful.We just welcomed our first baby into the world in February and Heather did newborn photos for us that turned out absolutely stunning as well! She was super quick to respond to the request and was able to accommodate us even on short notice.Heather is great and quick with communication, and she makes you feel comfortable being photographed! She's also very warm and great at conversation which makes you feel so much more comfortable with her!

Heather is AMAZING!! She is so lovely and super chill and makes you feel so special on your extra special day! My wedding ran pretty behind schedule and she never missed a beat and never made me feel rushed! She is so nice to work with and just has the best personality!
