Working at Chartwell Colonel Belcher has been an incredible experience. The facility is beautiful the location is great. All our residents and staff members are amazing, and always with a smile on their faces. I really enjoy working here!.

We recently moved my mom into Colonel Belcher after my dad passed away. After only a short period of time, we have seen a significant difference in her personality and overall mood, something we never thought would ever change again. The entire experience has been amazing – the staff, especially Christine the General Manager, went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and answered every question we had. They accommodated multiple site visits and never pressured us into signing a lease. I would highly recommend this facility – I cant begin to say enough about the amazing experience we have had. Aside from our experience, the activities, food, accommodation, and overall facility is exactly what my mom needed to gain back her independence and improve the quality of her life.

We are in the process of searching for a new home for my farther inlaw. We have visited a few places in the Calgary area but the colonel Belcher retirement home really stands out from the rest. Shelby was very informative and gave us lots of information. Christine and her staff are super friendly and very helpful. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the organization in all areas of the facility. My wife and I feel that her father will be in great hands living here

Working with Chartwell Colonel Belcher Retirement Residence over the past several months has been an absolute pleasure and honour. Christine Taylor, General Manager, is top notch and goes out of her way to ensure their residents (and future residents) are happy, supported and living their best life!

My dad has been living at the Colonel Belcher for more than 2 years now and our experience has been very positive. The staff are kind and considerate and go out of their way to make him feel at home. Christine has managed the Covid -19 pandemic extremely well with keeping family and residents informed and updated in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a safe and caring home for their loved one.

Our company did renovation work within the home and we had a great experience working together with Chartwell on the project. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We also enjoyed connecting with the residents and hearing their stories. I was very impressed with how Chartwell handles the home with the balance of professionalism in hand with kindness for the residents.

My Mother loves living at Colonel Belcher. She moved in 4.5 years ago. The staff and the residents have created such a positive, engaging community. The staff, especially, has gone the extra mile to make Colonel Belcher a home for everyone.

I highly recommend this Retirement establishment after visiting my good friend there, many times. It is extremely welcoming to its residents and visitors and the staff really make you feel like we are all one big family!I am very fussy when it comes to cleanliness and I will look for faults where others might not and I can honestly say that I have been nothing but highly impressed. The standards and facilities are highly maintained by Christine Taylor and her staff, who show a great connection and respect to the residents.

I dropped into Chartwell to have a tour and get a feel for the property as I have clients as a real estate agent that need to transition to this kind of a facility. Christine and Shelby showed me around the property and I was very impressed with the renovations, cleanliness, variety of room options and the amount of activities that they had. I actually asked at one point if I could get a room there as I am a little under the age limit as it seems to be a wonderful facility. They even talked about a free shuttle service they have to the mall and medical appointments! Absolutely would have no hesitation referring my clients to this facility.

We researched a number of senior assisted living communities in Calgary before settling on Col. Belcher.Christine and her team made us feel very comfortable with their abilities and facilities. We know that their residents are their first priority and their passion and professionalism shows throughout.Would recommend anyone with relatives who are checking out these communities to definitely give them a try!
