Skygate Tower

I love living in this building, I used to live in another Boardwalk location, but I moved here as it is in downtown close to all the restaurants, buses and easy to just run my errands all in a walking distance. The management and the maintenance team are so efficient, professional and very helpful.

Don't believe their lies... they let people have your keys whiletheythink your at work, lie to get double payments and are infested with cockroaches dont ruin yourself by renting here

We had two separate Boardwalk property / building managers (Skygate Tower being one of them) set up virtual viewings with us this week. Both times, they were no-shows with zero communication as to cancelling or reasons.Very unprofessional conduct for a rental management company.

The management is terrible. I moved out recently and the whole process of moving out was full of headaches and back and forth with inadequately trained staff in the office. After my move, they still charged me for the rent of the following month (when I did not even live there) creating another headache without any explanations. They can charge you through online transactions but they would not send you money back through the same online system. And instead of sending the money back, the staff asked me to send them my bank statement with the current balance without providing the reasons why! I asked a few times to speak with the Supervisor/Manager or someone in charge from Boardwalk head office but the staff refused to provide any contact information. If you are looking for a stress-free apartment to live, I do NOT recommend this place.

With the amount of cockroaches I never felt lonely while living here ❤️

I'm living here for the last 5 years, before the service was great. I really like this building because it is close to almost everything you need. But recently, we've had problem with cockroaches which I reported immediatley to the office. I don't know where it came from, then I noticed there is a hole underneath the bathroom sink and kitchen sink. I told the office if they can atleast cover it up after the pest control to avoid pest to come in again. But the lady whom I talked to said they cannot do it because its a major renovation. So i said, maybe she can just note it down so I dont need to request it again. But she insists to report it again after 6 weeks instead of taking down note. I asked them also if it is possible that we could transfer to another unit which we are willing to pay extra for the upgrade. For 5 years, ofcourse even we take good care of the unit there is always wear and tear happening. I was asking the number for their head office and she refused to give it to me. I really love to stay in this building but I think the management is not taking care of their tenants very well.

this place is infested with cockraoches and has been for years but i also had a cat there and she ate them and i did not have to buy her food for about 3 months because her little tummy was filled to the brim with roaches

Wouldn't even give a 1 star for this place. Staff and management are unfriendly, they are nice to you until you move in. The building smelling like pot and cigarette, a lot of us don't understand why they allow smoking in the building when they say it's a family-friendly building. Some drug dealers live here and it gets pretty noisy. It's not safe. Definitely not recommend Skygate Tower. Don't waste your money or else you'd regret living here.

Always have cockroaches and have to spray all the time. Which means you have to move basically all your stuff. Building is very dirty. Dryers do not dry clothes fully. They will take away any incentive after the first year. Re signing my lease was a mistake.

The residents take care of pets responsibly and gently transition into long term care or retirement.
